This picture of mine already evokes summer, with lots of sunshine and lavender scents, Mediterranean atmosphere. I won't have to go far if I want to see this, because we have our own "sea" here, Lake Balaton. By the way, I'm going there tomorrow to take a bath in the 5-degree water, after the sauna, of course.
Part of the composition is the window of an old cellar, which now has only one panel. Lattice inside, darkness and cellar smell behind the lattice. What could be inside?
On the ledge is a red enamel milk jug full of freshly picked lavender. It has a message to stay outdoors and enjoy the sunshine!
I recently bought paper that I thought was watercolor. At home, it turned out to be more ideal for mixed techniques. I was also upset about it because the paint didn’t behave the way I wanted it to. The moisture was immediately absorbed and thus stained.
Then in one place I messed up a small detail while drawing, I painted it, in the end I managed to fix it. What was that detail? Did you find it? Write in a comment.
Paper: Fabriano Mixed Media, 300g A/4
Paint: Sonnet watercolor plus white gel pen for the lattice.

I like it ! ....and I enjoyed seeing your process.
It looks amazing and I don't think you messed up anything.
I love how you captured the shadow on the screen.
Thanks! Look the milk jug's handle on every picture! 🤣
It looks fine! It looks like a painting, not like a photograph, as it should. But I know what you mean. I see things like that in my own work and it's allllll I can see for years.
Wow.. beautiful work:)
