Hello again!
It's been a while since the last time I posted about the start of a new series. Life has been eventful, to say the least. I won't bore you with the details, but some major changes are about to happen in my life in just a few weeks. It's exciting and honestly, quite terrifying. In the midst of all this though, I've found some time to complete this new piece.
I've been obsessed with this hairstyle for a while now, and I've been determined to implement it one way or another, either via my art or in reality. Guess through art would have to suffice for now.
I had a few challenges trying to get this just right and that's not in addition to having to pause drawing it for a bit which threw me off my game. Luckily, it only took a few tries to get back into it.
For some reason, getting the lips right was a challenge.
This last WIP shot was meant to be the final version, but I wanted to make it clear that she's underwater, so I included the water reflection in the final shot.
I went through quite a few colors before settling on red and blue for the flowers, and I had to tweak it a bit to get the perfect shade I wanted.
