Hello hive friends. After a great and long absence for health reasons I have returned with a new recycling job. This time I made the Sith Lord Darth Vader's Biomask and Helmet. I believe and I am sure that he is the most loved character in the entire saga. The chosen one of the prophecy who brought back the balance of the force that's why he is my favorite character. It is one of my last jobs after having made several Star Wars figures. I hope you like it and you like it as much as I do.
Hola amigos de hive. Despues de una gran y larga ausencia por motivos de salud he regresado con un nuevo trabajo de reciclaje. Esta vez he realizado la biomascara y casco del lord sith Darth Vader. Creo y estoy seguro que es el personaje mas amado de toda la saga. El elegido de la profecia que trajo nuevamente el equilibrio de la fuerza por eso es mi personaje favorito. Es uno de mis ultimos trabajos luego de haber realizado varias figuras de Star Wars. Espero sea de su agrado y les guste tanto como a mi.
As is customary to make these figures, we choose beer cans and also draw some templates. The templates help us to achieve the most similar shape to the original.
Como es costumbre para realizar estas figuras elegimos latas de cerveza y tambien dibujar unas plantillas. Las plantillas nos ayudan a conseguir la forma mas parecida al original.
First of all we start with this flower shape which is for the upper part of the helmet. Once we have cut it, we glue it on the edges and join them.
En primer lugar comenzamos con esta forma de flor que es para la parte superior del casco. Una vez que la hemos cortado la pegamos con pegamento en los bordes y las unimos.
Our next step is to make the helmet wings. For this we cut these figures and then we join them together. In turn they will be attached to the part we did previously and will give the helmet a complete shape.
Nuestro siguiente paso es hacer las alas del casco. Para esto cortamos estas figuras y luegos las unimos entre ellas. A su vez iran unidas a la parte que hicimos anteriormente y dara forma completa al casco.
To start making the mask we cut these silhouettes that are the front part of the face that includes the eyes, nose and mouth and the side part that covers the ears and part of the neck.
Para comenzar hacer la mascara cortamos estas siluetas que son la parte forntal de la cara que uncluye los ojos nariz y boca y la parte laterales que cubre las orejas y parte del cuello.
Then we proceed to fold the mask in the parts that must be folded and we join them with glue. As can be seen, you can see how the mask is coming out.
Luego procedemos a doblar la mascara en las partes que debe doblarse y las unimos entre ellas con pegamento. Como puede verse ya se puede apreciar como va saliendo la mascara.
Then we will cut the grid where Darth Vader breathes and other accessories that will give the mask more personality.
Despues cortaremos la rejilla por donde respira Darth Vader y otros accesorios que nos daran mas personalidad a la mascara.
Then we make the neck in an easy way and that allows us to join the part of the mask that we have already made.
Luego hacemos el cuello de una manera facil y que nos permita unir a la parte de la mascara que ya hemos realizado.
After we glue the grids, we put the eyes and we glue the neck and so we would have a large part of the mask. It would only be necessary to put the helmet that we made in the first place and we would already have the full face of Darth Vader.
Despues pegamos las rejillas, colocamos los ojos y pegamos el cuello y asi nos quedaria gran parte de la mascara. Solo haria falta colocarle el casco que hicimos en primer lugar y ya tendriamos el rostro completo de Darth Vader.
And here we have almost completely finished Darth Vader's biomask. We have put the part that we were missing and this is how we have it. We just need to put black paint on it or if we want we leave it this way.
Y aqui tenemos terminado casi en su totalidad la biomascara de Darth Vader. Le hemos puesto la parte que nos faltaba y asi es como nos ha quedado. Solo falta que le echemos pintura negra o si queremos lo dejamos de esta manera.
I chose to paint it black since I have some spray paints that I use to make my pictures and to paint the bikes. I just have a bit of black that will make the helmet look more realistic.
Yo elegi pintarla de negro ya que tengo algunas pinturas en aerosol que uso para hacer mis cuadros y para pintar las bicicletas. Justo tengo un poco de negro que hara que el casco se vea mas realista.
So we have the helmet of the fearsome sith lord: Darth Vader. I can almost hear your breathing
Asi nos queda el casco del temible lord sith: Darth Vader. Casi que puedo escuchar su respiración
