At last, someone hires me for a cartoon illustration, the work is great!
ILLUSTRATION FOR A VIDEO GAME CHANNEL ENTER!
FIRST THE FIRST, a client from Colombia hired me a few weeks ago for a childhood illustration for the video game channel of their two children.
Then he passed me a series of references, both to video games and cartoons, showing me how he wanted me to guide the work.
And with all this in hand, I began to sketch!
I had several ideas, I sketched two but I went for one. I was very struck by the image above.

| After the client approved the illustration, I passed it to photoshop and there the magic began. | Little by little he was giving color to these characters, which were: Juan and Thiago. |
They are two brothers who are fans of video games.
I used several references to the most famous video games in the illustration, including the coins and the cube from Mario Bros. At the bottom is the Minecraft diamond sword and in the middle the typical Pokemon ball.

| One of the elements that give life to this illustration are the coins, I really liked the texture of the gold. | Then, the background of the illustration would come as a kind of dark room with a carpet where the characters remain. |
HE HAD ALSO REQUESTED THE DESIGN OF THE COVER OF THE CHANNEL OF HIS CHILDREN. I CREATED THE DESIGN BELOW TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE NEON LIGHTS AND THE SPACE OF THE ABOVE ILLUSTRATION.
I personally felt very comfortable with the art work I did for this client, who was also very pleased with the result.

DURATION: 12 hours.
PROGRAM: Adobe Photoshop
And yes, the work day with this illustration was long, but I really wanted to do something good.

Al fin, alguien me contrata para una ilustración en caricatura, ¡está genial el trabajo!
¡ILUSTRACIÓN PARA INTRO DE UN CANAL DE VIDEO JUEGOS!
PRIMERO LO PRIMERO, un cliente de colombia me contrató hace pocas semanas para una lustración infantil para el canal de videojuegos de sus dos hijos.
Luego me pasó unas series de referencias, tanto a videojuegos como de caricaturas, mostrándome como quería que guiara el trabajo.
Y con todo esto en manos ¡comencé a bocetear!
Tenía varias ideas, boceteé dos pero me fui por una sola. Me llamó mucho la atención la imagen que está arriba.

Son dos hermanos aficionados al videojuego.
Utilicé varias referencias a los videojuegos más famosos dentro de la ilustración, entre ellos las monedas y el cubo de Mario Bros. En la parte de abajo se encuentra la espada de diamante de Minecraft y en el medio la típica pokebola de Pokémon.

| Uno de los elementos que dan vida a esta ilustración son las monedas, me gustó mucho la textura del oro. | Luego, el fondo de la ilustración que vendría siendo una especie de sala oscura con una alfombra donde permanecen los personajes. |
TAMBIÉN HABÍA PEDIDO EL DISEÑO DE LA PORTADA DEL CANAL DE SUS HIJOS. CREÉ EL DISEÑO DE ABAJO TOMANDO EN CUENTA LAS LUCES NEONES Y EL ESPACIO DE LA ILUSTRACIÓN ANTERIOR.
Personalmente me sentí muy a gusto con el trabajo de arte que hice para este cliente, que también se sintió muy satisfecho con el resultado.

Y pues sí, fue larga la jornada de trabajo con esta ilustración, pero realmente quería hacer algo bueno.
