The House of Gables
An old house standing on top of a rocky clip is strange and a very peculiar scene. Behind these old gables lies a dark and mystical history that became a discussion to everyone. The old house depicts the suffering and the torment from the past that could never be forgotten by anyone who has seen the house and its related story.
A century ago, an old woman with very long and dark hair lived in the House of Gables alone. People have had rumors about her sorcery activity and witchcraft. People who believed in her sorcery sometimes visited her and sought for help as they called her the "witch doctor". Possessed by demons and tormented souls are the most cases. The house was designed and elevated from the ground to deflect the negative energy below. Although the old lady lived alone, there were screams and cursing words often heard inside the old house of gables.
One day as people came to visit the old lady, they had such a strange feeling. It was very silent and peaceful from the outside of the house. You can see the pale sky on the top from the ground. It was very cold that day and you can only hear croaking sounds from a group of crows flying around the area.
People were wondering and astonished at the presence of crows which was very unusual. The place was creepy and they have to walk a stiff path to reach the house from the top of the cliff. Decayed and dried plants were all over the ground which made it more creepier. Chills went down their spines as they walked their way to the top.
When they reached the top, everybody was shocked and paralyzed on what they witnessed! It was a severed head of the old lady that was strangled against the gable.
The death of the sorcerer...
A very unpleasant smell turned-off their stomach and some puked. It was almost rotten and the crows were having a feast of it. People who came were terrified thinking what could have happened to the witch doctor.
As they entered the old house, they saw the headless body of her...full of scratches all over her parts . It was getting rotten but the scars still remained. Blood that already dried-up scattered all over the house as if the crime scene happened days ago. People thought it was not human who could do such kind of things. "It was a demon that killed her" uttered by an old man within the group.
Hunted house....
As they searched inside the old house, they saw a big mirror that looked strange. They believed it was a portal for a new dimension and the hand writings all over the mirror that was not clear and unreadable made it more scary. They took the body of the old lady and buried it offering a prayer for her peace. No people dared to come near the house nor the area since then. There are rumors that demons infested the place and still lurking inside the house. Since then, the house of gables became haunted!
