I used to find a lot of inspiration in the Technical Museum in Vienna. I took dozens of photos of all sorts of machinery, mostly steam machines, airplane engines and turbines. This painting was based on the turbofan of a jet fighter - as far as I remember it was a F-4 Phantom.
