Hello to all lovers of digital art !!! And of the incredible and surreal results that are achieved with digital manipulation with photoshop. ^ _ ^

Wow, yes, I had time to not publish or show any of my drawings again, one of the reasons for my long absence is the work that lately, which has taken a lot of time, more than usual, but the main reason and which I left quite discouraged from drawing for a long time, almost depressed and very upset, it was a horror-themed drawing that I was doing and I think it was one of my best works, and it happened that when I was about to finish it, technically I was already ready by myself He lacked the highlights of the hair (in other words I was adding more details) I give it to save, and then continue detailing it and at that very moment the light goes out, and when the electrical power is restored, I turn on my computer to finish my drawing , it turns out the file is corrupted and cannot be opened, they have no idea how angry and frustrated I felt at the time, literally a week and a half I've been figuring out how to repair that file vo, and without any results so far, it is more likely that I will have to start that drawing from the beginning again T_T unless I have a photo of when it was in the middle, that it takes to send to @ yanes94 when I wonder what I was doing it will help me to see if I can even recover the colors.

As you will see, I need to somehow make up for lost time, and despite I said that I would not show them works of my work again since they are of a purely commercial nature, (logos and Fyers for Instagram) on this occasion they asked me for a photo manipulation to upload to MCY STUDIO Instagram is the first time that I have done something of this kind (my thing is drawing and illustration) each designer had to make a work, and that is why they gave each of us a photograph, taken by the same photographer of the company, from a session that was previously held with a models, for one of the clients, I got this girl's, I decided to apply an effect of her melting, and to tell you I'm very proud of the result ^ _ ^

I took these paint splatters through the Google images search engine. I just put "splash Paint png" and took the ones that best suited what I wanted to do, which were a total of 7 images.

With this GIF I show you the entire process of photo manipulation

So sad to hear about what happened to your previous work.
Do you have any plans on redoing that piece or have you abandoned it entirely?Good to see you posting again @inu-jim

Yes, I am going to resume it, but first I will make a correction to a previous drawing, and there I will begin to recreate that drawing, but I need to buy a UPS for my computer so that this problem does not happen to me again.

Would the problem had been avoided if you were periodically saving the document to avoid it? I used this method before I had a UPS when working on documents. Saved my life several times before UPS was installed.

In fact that is something that I always do, I always save in intervals of 15 to 20 minutes, but the problem is that the power went out when I was saving the file and that is why it was damaged, it was about 50% of the saving when I poof power went out T_T

This gave me an idea to save two files in between though it may also fail especially if your made a lot of progress on the other file and are too worked up over the loss of progress that you don't continue with the other file too. Hope you get that UPS installed soon. I'd like to see you grow more on the platform sharing your content.
