Greetings! This time I share a step-by-step tutorial to make an amigurumi in the shape of a Pug dog. It is ideal for people who know the basics of crochet, just pay attention to the abbreviations. I did this tutorial some time ago only in Spanish, but now I decided to publish it in English, because the nomenclature used for crochet in English is completely different. It took me a little time to make the correct taduccion for each round. I hope you enjoy it.

Materials

Crochet needle Nº. 4 or any size provided it is small.

Needle
1 small blcacl plastic pearl for the nose
Synthetic filling, can be silicone nappa, cotton or fibers of recycling yarn.
Yarn: Claire beige or brown
Crochet thread: black , white, dark brown

Abbreviations

Ch: Chain stitch

St(s): stitch(s)

rnd: round

s.s.: slit stitch

s.c.: single crochet

h.d.c.: Half double crochet

d.c.: Double Crochet

Inc: increase (2 single crochet in next single crochet)

d. Inc: double increase (3 single crochet in next single crochet)

Dec: decrease (2 single crochet together)

B.P.d.c.: Back Post single crochet

1 rnd: 6 Inc. Total Stitch (12)

2 rnd: 1 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (18)

3 rnd: 2 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (24)

4-8 rnd: 24 s.c. in the five rnds.

9 rnd: 2 s.c., 1 Dec, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (18)

10 rnd: 1 s.c., 1 Dec, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (12)

Close with s.s., and leave a long thread to sew.

2 rnd: 1 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (18)

3-7 rnd: 18 s.c.

8 rnd: 1 s.c., 1 Dec, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (12)

Filled the body with fiber

9 rnd: 6 Dec. Close with s.s., and hide the thread inside the tissue

2-3 rnd: Claire beige yarn. 8 s.c. in the two rnds.

4 rnd: Claire beige yarn. 1 s.c., 1 h.d.c., 2 d.c., 1 h.d.c., 1 s.c., Close with s.s.

1 rnd: 1 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (6)

2 rnd: 2 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (8)

3 rnd: 3 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (10)

4 rnd: 4 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (12)

5 rnd: 5 s.c., 1 Inc, repeat until the end of the round. Total Stitches (14)

Close with s.s., and leave a long thread to sew.

Make two ears

Assembling

I filled the parts with synthetic anti-allergic fiber, I sewed them with the same thread with the help of a large needle. The nose is a black plastic pearl sewn with a needle and black sewing thread. I also attached a chain link and gold pin to use as a keychain.
