I was assigned the Dali suite. On the main wall, I reproduced "The Burning Giraffe" on the main wall. Again, the snow quality wasn't the best. It had rained a lot prior and the snow was icy on the surface then got soft and soaked as you carved in. In such an instance, you can try to carve roughly everything as much as possible and by the next day, the exposed layer would freeze so that you could carve the details. We were not so lucky and the nights didn't get much colder than the days, but we managed!
On a secondary wall, I was inspired by Dali's elephants.
Here's a picture of the full scene "The Burning Giraffe". The Dali portrait was CNC'ed by my friend Marc Lepire who also carved 2 other scenes in the suite.
