Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well. Today I want to share with you a new practice I just finished: a portrait in semi-realistic style. For this drawing, I decided to use slightly larger facial proportions compared to a fully realistic style, which allowed me to explore a different perspective on the design.

I began by tracing the initial sketch of the portrait, to which I then applied color gradually, adding details and shadows to give it more depth and realism. This creative process took me a total of 6 hours. Below are several images that show the progress of this illustration and the evolution of the portrait during its creation.

Process

I started the creative process with the sketch, drawing multiple guide lines to establish the correct proportions and achieve a balanced structure. After finishing this initial stage, I proceeded to apply skin color to the character, using a wide range of shades to highlight details and add depth.

Tras finalizar esta etapa inicial, procedí a aplicar el color de piel al personaje, utilizando una amplia gama de tonalidades para resaltar los detalles y agregar profundidad.
