Hello everyone, I hope you are feeling well. Today I want to share with you a portrait in semi-realistic style that I just finished. In this work, I made several modifications in the proportions of the face, enlarging the size of the eyes and reducing the size of the nose. This is my second drawing using this method, and I am very satisfied with the result obtained. The whole process took me about 6 hours.

To bring this illustration to life, I relied on a reference I found on Pinterest, which was fundamental to start and develop the concept I had in mind. I started by tracing the initial sketch, which helped me define the proportions and the basis of the design. Next, I will share with you a series of images that show the progress.

Hola a todos, espero que se encuentren muy bien. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un retrato en estilo semirrealista que acabo de terminar. En esta obra, realicé varias modificaciones en las proporciones del rostro, ampliando el tamaño de los ojos y reduciendo el de la nariz. Este es mi segundo dibujo utilizando este método, y estoy muy satisfecho con el resultado obtenido. El proceso completo me tomó alrededor de 6 horas.

Para dar vida a esta ilustración, me apoyé en una referencia que encontré en Pinterest, la cual fue fundamental para iniciar y desarrollar el concepto que tenía en mente. Comencé trazando el boceto inicial, lo que me ayudó a definir las proporciones y la base del diseño. A continuación, les compartiré una serie de imágenes que muestran el progreso.

Process

I started the creative process by drawing a sketch accompanied by guide lines, which allowed me to define the proportions I wanted to achieve. After completing this initial phase, I went on to apply the color of the character's skin, later adding shadows and details.

Inicié el proceso creativo trazando un boceto acompañado de líneas guía, lo que me permitió definir las proporciones que quería alcanzar. Tras completar esta fase inicial, pasé a aplicar el color de la piel del personaje, añadiendo posteriormente sombras y detalles.
