Hello Everyone I hope we are all in good condition in this time of pandemic particularly our health as we want always.I just want to share my first ever blog on hive.By the way thank you to @eustace-kidd,my workmate for his invitation regarding hive.this artpiece was created last May 2021. It was my Collaboration entry to fellow artist here in the Philippines.

MEDIUM:

Adobe Photoshop CC2020
Keyboare
Mouse

PROCESS:

1.PNG
Using Shape in Pentool I drew the hair first and color it with not too dark

2.PNG
I add details to the hair I used path in Pen tool, using stoke path then brush to every hair strands and layer mask, same process done in the highlights and shadows

3.PNG
Using again the Shape in Pen tool next is the base skintone the face and the body all part that is the same in color

4.PNG
Next thing I did is adding highlights.whatever to the artist first to do whether the highlights first or shadow for me is depending to what comforts you or own process what important is we achieve a better output nearly the same to the reference.Sorry for the long explanation haha

5.PNG
after then I apply layer mask to the highlights, layer mask is used to make the shape smooth particulary in edges maybe we can compare it with gradient.

6.PNG

same process I did in all part of the skin both shadows ang highlights.I add also for the line art in the eye, eyebrows, nose, teeth, and neck

7.PNG
completing for the eye using again shape in pentool also applying layer mask to make it realistic

8.PNG
adding base color to lips using shape in Pen Tool

9.PNG
next is shadows and highlights for the lips and of course I again used layer Mask

10.PNG

adding base color for her dress
11.PNG
almost done with it,same thing highlights, shadow and layer mask applied

12.PNG
for better good looking in color I add adjustment level adding red in it

13.PNG
Lastly I blur the other part of her hair,I happy for the outcome hope you guys appreciate it.Thank you😀😀

Hello, @johnmar19! This is @anggreklestari from @OCD team. We saw that you already posted your first post here in Hive Blockchain! Congratulations and welcome! However, it would be awesome if you do an introduction post. As a sample of what an intro post is, you can refer to this intro post for reference:

Keeping Up With the Buzz - My Introduction to the Hive Community

There's no specific format on how you do your intro post, but there is some suggested content that we would love to see in your post. Information like who are you and where you're from, how did you discover Hive or who invited you, what types of content you want to see here and the types that you want to produce, and what are your expectations in this platform. There's no pressure on this. You can choose whatever information you would like to share.

You can tag me @anggreklestari on your intro post then if you have done with it.

Well, you can explore the communities that are suitable for your content. You can read some of the communities in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program

For tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide.

The important thing is Hive is a bit different from other social media platforms since you are monetizing your blog. You can't include content that you don't own without sources. For more information, check this post: Why and How People Abuse and Plagiarise.

If you have questions, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions. For now, @lovesniper will follow you and we are looking forward to your intro post!
