Daisy drawing

in OnChainArt3 years ago

For some time I was trying to make my own pencil tool, one that will fit my style. Idea was to make tool that will nicely replace kind of pencils I work with on regular paper. Drawing is something I love to do, and pencil can be essential in that work ( paper is also one more spice ) if I want good result.

After some time and many tests I came up with this one that suits me. It's like combination of graphite pencil and charcoal pencil. Sometimes I scan my pencil drawings and than work them in Photoshop, but also I want to have good tool to do whole drawing on my graphic board.

There are several collage drawings from this serial so I'm sharing first one here with some layers looks.
Idea was to use simple pencil drawing and than to add patterns and patterns are something I love to use in my art, A LOT :)

Here are used some details of free images I picked up online.
It's not that I don't make hand -drawn patterns but for this serial I had this kind of images in mind.

And here is final one, with more colors in background and some more details that gave image final look.
It's good playing with different options and process sometimes can take time until I find one that satisfies idea.

Also, this image is minted as #nft as a single edition and you can see it here https://makersplace.com/jung/daisy-1-of-1-81500/

I love patterns too. And these patterns for me give connections to all the elements present in an art. Also, I noticed how you used breaklines in between your art photos which is a good formatting style especially if we are just out of words. And finally, as usual your creations are always fascinating.

:0 thank you so much for your kind words. Patterns are like some kind of meditation for me, especially when I paint them.
Breaklines are something I love to use primary for better visual experience of one that reads my post. But also it can help if you are not person of many words like I'm :) I talk in pictures much better :)

I talk in pictures much better :)

Yeah! this is very true. I sometimes find myself being like this.

Thank you so much for following me. I have been following you since the last platform because I am in awe when I see your watercolor works! ☺️

Ohhhh, I'm moved with your comment, so happy you find my art so interesting <3

She is lovely. I still do not find a digital way to replace the pencil. I always need to sketch traditional. I wish I could get an ipad just to try if procreate is my thing or not. I have a huion and sometimes it is not the most comfortable.
I saw you at hivefest but we were attending the presentations and did not want to distract you but wish we had had a little time to greet

I think you'd find that an ipad and the pencil would do that for you. I've been using Procreate since March and haven't a fraction of your talent to use on it. The range of brushes available are amazing.

I am not a big fan of apple because devices are pricey and honestly tmi had bad experiences with a mac and ipod so I always have used pc and android, but now that adobe is so expensive I switched to affinity and clip studio to paint and dunno,I do not find it comfortable to draw. I took two good years to recover my sprained thumb and now couple of weeks ago a mild car accident left me with whiplash on top of other things, so I feel for me it'd be easier to have something portable to bring into bed if needed. Sadly the only way to try it is with ipad, and everyone tease me eitg good feedback about the software, but my priorities are replacing my obsolete camera more storage and maybe a small drone for the videos. And over those lol other more basic that put them on hold forever lol 😂

Affinity is a great program but I find it not as easy to learn and use as Procreate. I have both the desktop (PC) and the app for iPad. I've spent some time with it on the desktop but not much on the iPad. It's probably like a lot things, needs time and patience to get the hang of

Couldn't agree more :)

Thank you @yidneth :)
I'm using wacom cintiq pen display for almost a year now and at first it was bit difficult but now it's like riding a bike.
Also I paint in Photoshop that I found difficult in the beginning but also now it's simple to use.
My plans are to get myself ipad to try Procreate, but that's something for the future.
ps - I wasn't attending Hivefest, probably you mixed me with someone :) so no worries :)

Oh I think I had seen you and juliakponsford too... but I was so overwhelmed that I may have mistaken some other username, people would move faster I could hover on the username. Same here I'm trying to get a ipad to use procreate in bed when I'm tired or struggle at desktop. I've been told it's rather easy and I am looking for something simple taht doesn't deter me from sitting down to paint :)

Awesome stuff!!!! ❤️ The detail work on her staff is really good.
Perfect work my dear sweet friend @jungwatercolor. Love your work always. God bless you,

Thank you!
