Let's have an icy hot weekend with this badass fire and ice wielder, the icy hot Todoroki, from the anime, My Hero Academia. The anime was aired here way back 2019 in Tagalog dub. I saw how badass this guy fights with his fire and ice powers. His fighting pose alone is so cool. He really caught my attention when he almost ruined the fighting arena with his power. Since then, I started to root for him. I turned into a big fan so I watch My Hero Academia regularly. I continued watching the series online last year. I dedicate this drawing to a friend and a fellow fan.
This is the last piece of traditional drawing I've done before shifting to digital art and I'm glad that I finished strong with my favorite character. Todoroki is one of the top three characters in the series based on the prowess they have shown in the series as well as popularity among fans. I've seen him grow as the series continues. He inherited his fire power form his dad and his ice power from his mom. Despite his dark past and painful childhood, he chose to grow and overcome the pain than to self destruct. His father used to put a lot of pressure on him to become stronger than the current no. 1 hero. This hero is the rival that his dad can't beat so he stayed at 2nd rank up to the present. This is the reason why Todoroki had to endure his dad's cruelty and harsh trainings. He grew up hating his dad that hate towards his dad is his drive to get stronger without using the fire power he inherited from his dad. Everything changed when he had a match with the main character, Midoriya. He realized that mastering both his fire and ice powers can bring out his full potential while preventing the side effects of using too much ice powers that causes him frostbites. Later on, his character grows as he learns to make friends and starts to forgive his dad who treated him horribly in the past instead of being vengeful. This time, he trains really hard to get stronger for his goals, which turns him into a more powerful and badass character as the series goes on. He can now use both his fire and ice powers more efficiently while he's practicing teamwork, which makes him a powerful ally to his friends.

It took me long to finish this drawing from pencil version to the final details because I struggled with the fire and ice since it's my first time drawing them. I'm still glad that I was able to pull it off and it ended well. It is indeed satisfying. I'm so happy to finish my transition to digital art strong with this last piece of traditional drawing. Todoroki put a happy ending on my traditional art with his handsome yet badass look as a result. I'd gladly give this drawing as dedication and remembrance to another friend and a fellow Todoroki fan. I will meet him together with the one who will receive the Irene drawing. The three of us plan to meet. I will personally give the drawings to them on that day. I'm excited to cheer them up with these drawings as my remembrance.
