Hola amigos #Hivers ¿como están? hoy les presentare una miniatura (no tan miniatura) que pinte hace no mucho de Ashardalon, un gran dragón rojo del juego Dungeons and dragons Wrath of ashardalon, el cual es un juego de mesa basado en el mundo de D&D donde podremos cumplir diferentes misiones, encuentros, descubrir tesoros y demás. solo tengo fotos de un antes y después, así que les mostrare las pinturas que utilice y les escribiré los procedimientos de como lo pinte para que quede constancia de mi trabajo.

Este fue un largo y arduo trabajo ya que la figura tiene muchos puntos ciegos donde pintar es una pesadilla, las alas al ser en forma de semi-arco no deja pintar fácilmente las zonas interiores lo cual me obligo a doblarlas hacia afuera con una mano mientras pintaba con la otra.
This was a long and arduous job since the figure has many blind spots where painting is a nightmare, the wings being in the shape of a semi-arc do not allow the interior areas to be painted easily which I force myself to bend them out with one hand while he painted with the other.
Este es el modelo original, primero lo imprime en blanco, yo lo hice con un pincel para imprimar (les recomiendo utilizar aerografo, es mucho mas rápido, fácil y efectivo).

Esta fue la imagen donde me inspire para hacer sus iluminaciones, pues es la primera vez que pinto un dragón y tiene que ser algo imponente y llamativo.

Para comenzar combine el rojo mate con el negro mate para dar una tonalidad vinotinto oscuro que tomaría como base principal para el dragón, para luego ir bajando la tonalidad con el Khador red base en las áreas mas superficiales, luego ese rojo resultante lo combine con Cygnus yellow para crear anaranjado en las áreas mas voluminosas hasta que estas fueran amarillas, todo con pinturas muy diluidas y múltiples trazos para que las tonalidades se combinaran de forma natural por fricción y disolución.
De la misma forma pinte el interior y exterior de las alas con el negro mate y en los bordes de las alas le di un vinotinto oscuro para disimular un reflejo de las escamas; Su estomago es una combinación de huesos en forma de placa escamoso, así que tome el Rucksack Tan con el Titanium White para aclararlo y poner una base principal, luego empece a oscurecerlo con el negro mate y colocando un lavado negro en los bordes interiores de las placas, lo mismo hice con los colmillos y cuernos que sobresalen en blanco, aparentando ser hueso puro.
Y para finalizar aplique los diferentes grises para las piedras y arena refinada junto a grama artificial para elaborar la base donde esta. La verdad es que es bastante corto explicarlo pero todo este proceso me llevo mas de 36 horas seguidas sin parar, ni dormir, mas que comer, e ir al baño cuando era necesario... Si, estaba muy inspirado elaborando esto jajajaja

In the same way I painted the inside and outside of the wings with matte black and on the edges of the wings I gave it a dark red to hide a reflection of the scales; His stomach is a combination of scaly plate-shaped bones, so I took the Rucksack Tan with the Titanium White to lighten it and put on a prime base, then I started darkening it with the matte black and putting a black wash on the inner edges of the plates, I did the same with the tusks and horns that stand out in white, pretending to be pure bone.
And finally, apply the different grays for the stones and refined sand along with artificial grass to make the base where it is. The truth is that it is quite short to explain it but this whole process took me more than 36 hours in a row without stopping, or sleeping, more than eating, and going to the bathroom when necessary ... Yes, I was very inspired making this hahahaha
