You play with fire and pretend
It wasn't a predetermined game
To watch me roast and burn?

Enjoy the show, my dear friend,
the blaze will come right after!
The big finale worths a toast!

You're an intriguing man!
You blurbed out your line,
And no guts for the end?

I'll take your silence for an "yes",
A gray wolf searching validation;
Fight or flight is the only consensus!

I will not be your "sometimes"
Don't take me for a fool,
Or let yourself deceived by

The smile upon my face;
These eyes have seen more
Than you think, much more!

Thank you for this comment that made me giggle. You gotta keep in mind that one needs to separate the author/ artist from his work. I draw my inspiration from multiple sources. 😉
