El pasado mes de diciembre un cliente me encargo una mascara del Grinch, fue la primera vez que alguien me pide un prop de dicho personaje, y en lo personal me gusta que me encargen cosas que nunca he pensado hacer ya que lo veo como un reto.
Last December a client asked me for a mask of the Grinch, it was the first time someone asked me for a prop of that character, and personally I like to be asked for things that I have never thought of doing since I see it as a challenge.
Como el cliente no especifico si queria el modelo clasico o la version de Jim Carrey decidi tomarme libertades creativas y combinar ambos conceptos.
As the client did not specify if he wanted the classic model or the Jim Carrey version I decided to take creative liberties and combine both concepts.
Primero esculpi la parte de la cara , y al terminarla la cosi a una capucha de tela de peluche verde para darle el aspecto peludo del grinch.
I first sculpted the face part, and when I finished it I sewed it to a green furry hood to give it the hairy look of the grinch.
