Welcome to the lego world
This project was born, like many before it, as a university exam project: the request was to create a "compositing" of different photographs to get to create an imaginary work that looked as realistic as possible. The difficulty of this particular project (the same found in a work previously posted, namely "Tribute to Jake Sully (Avatar)") resided in the constraint of having to personally create every single photograph used.
The work, "Welcome to the lego world", was extremely complex to realize and took a long time, because not only the environment photos but also every single lego was first of all photographed by me (having to take into account, each time, not only the "role" and the pose in which I imagined that particular lego but also the perspective of the environment photo) and then be modified individually, paying particular attention to lights, shadows, color effects (such as saturation, contrast, brightness, etc. . .) and the optimal position to recreate particular scenes or environments.
To photograph the larger legos I used walls or white objects so as to make the "cropping" of the object as simple as possible, for the smaller legos I used a white sheet on which the subjects were placed lying down in different poses and angles. Each lego was then cut apart and inserted into the work, always paying particular attention to the interaction not only with the landscape but also with the other legos present.
The final work is therefore extremely complex and articulated, because within it is possible to identify different scenes and different situations.
I invite you to observe it closely to grasp all the details included!
This project is now available on NFT Showroom, with a size of 4032x3024. It is a project that has amused and intrigued me in all aspects of its realisation and I hope you can appreciate it.
