Hello beautiful community of hive it has been a long time since I uploaded one of my projects in this community, as you know all the issues blockings and mishaps of life. I apologize because my English is not very good, but I make the attempt that more people can read me.
Hola hermosa comunidad de Hive! ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que subí uno de mis proyectos en esta comunidad, como saben todos tenemos bloqueos y percances de la vida.
Lately I've been proposing to learn something new, which as you can see is digital art, which for me is a new challenge. It is secondary, I am not more passionate about hand drawing, however, since I cannot always be at home, I cannot have the materials at hand all the time ☹ so I decided to start with digital art and thus give myself an opportunity to enter a new field in which I will surely know New artistic companions with whom we can surely share ideas and experiences. Without further ado, I summarize a little of those I bring you today.
Today I not only bring you a drawing, but a story that I will summarize the context of its origin. The idea was given to me by a friend with whom I talked to form it well, and thus make my first mini comic. I found a mini scene fascinating where you can see that Lobo (Death) is the one who saves a puppy, yes, but at the same time I love to go deeper a little more.
últimamente me he estado proponiendo aprender algo nuevo, que como ven es el arte digital, lo que para mi es un nuevo reto. Cabe destacar que esto es secundario, nada me apasiona mas que el dibujo a mano, sin embargo como no siempre puedo estar en mi hogar no puedo tener los materiales a la mano todo el tiempo por lo que decidí empezar con el arte digital y así darme una oportunidad de adentrarme a un nuevo terreno en el cual seguramente conoceré nuevos compañeros artísticos con los cuales seguramente podremos compartir ideas y experiencias. Sin más que decir les resumo un poco de los que les traigo hoy.
hoy no solo les traigo un dibujo, sino una historia la cual le resumiré el contexto de su origen.
como pueden ver está basado en la película “gato con botas” la idea me la dio un amigo con el cual dialogue para formarla bien, y así hacer mi primer mini comic. Me pareció fascinante una mini escena donde se vea que Lobo (Death) es quien salvo a Perrito, si, pero a su vez me encanta profundizar un poco más
for me Scenes manage to represent what I wanted to do, but I don't know how well the viewer understands it, so I will explain a little:
In the middle box to the left, I highlighted a lot of Lobo's bloodthirsty look, I did this so that the viewer reaches him a first thought where he feels that Lobo's intentions are not good
we see in the middle box to the right to Wolf, which could be said that he is not there by chance, but to fulfill his purpose as death... I think that it is not necessary to explain what I mean
later in the picture below to the Left we notice a confused wolf, looking in the eyes of a doggy boy without understanding because he "does not feel fear" but in turn he clings a lot to his desire to live...
In the last painting we see to Wolf leaving letting live the puppy and saying a phrase that despite how simple I feel it has A great weight "You haven't lived yet" I wanted this to be a reference that Lobo feels that puppy is not afraid to die because he has not lived a true life with friends, home, or followed a name... and at the same time impressed by the great appreciation that has puppy for a life that although It has not been good, it is the only one you will have.
I think we all have a great lesson to learn from the movie Puss in Boots… It has very beautiful messages and teachings besides making our emotions dance. As I saw it I laughed, scared, I worried, I confused, and I even felt Sadness and shock to such a point of almost crying I hope everyone enjoyed it or can enjoy it at some point.
para mí las escenas logran representar lo que quise hacer, pero no se qué tan bien lo entienda el espectador, por lo cual les explicare un poco:
en el cuadro de en medio a la izquierda resalte mucho la mirada sanguinaria de lobo, esto lo hice para que el espectador le llegue un primer pensamiento donde sienta que las intenciones de lobo no son buenas.
vemos en el cuadro del medio a la derecha a lobo, el cual se podría decir que NO está allí por casualidad, sino por cumplir con su propósito como La Muerte… creo que no hace falta explicar a lo que me refiero
luego en el cuadro de abajo a la Izquierda notamos a lobo confundido, viendo a los ojos de perrito sin entender porque este “no siente miedo” pero a su vez se aferra mucho a sus ganas de vivir…
en el último cuadro vemos alobo marchándose dejando vivir a perrito y diciendo una frase que a pesar de lo simple siento que tiene un gran peso “Aun no has vivido” quise que fuera esta una referencia de que lobo siente que perrito no tiene miedo a morir porque no ha vivido una verdadera vida con amigos, hogar, o siguiera un nombre… y a su vez impresionado por el gran aprecio que tiene perrito por una vida que aunque no ha sido buena, es la única que tendrá.
opino que todos tenemos una gran lección que aprender de la película gato con botas… tiene mensajes y enseñanzas muy hermosos además de hacer bailar nuestras emociones. Mientras la vi me reí, asuste, preocupe, confundí, e incluso sentí tristeza y conmoción a tal punto de casi llorar. Espero que todos la hayan disfrutado o puedan disfrutarla en algún momento.

It was a bit complicated for me because I'm really a beginner in this digital art thing, and I don't know if they are the right methods, I won't explain all the boxes because I use the same process except for the middle one on the left. Even so, here I will give you a brief summary ☺
Proceso!
se me hizo algo complicado porque la verdad soy principiante en esto del arte digital, y no sé si son los métodos adecuados, no explicare todos los cuadros porque en todos use el mismo proceso a excepción de el de en medio a la izquierda. Aun así aquí les daré un breve resumen
sketch.
first I do it by hand on a sheet of paper (recycled because I did not know how many attempts I would make and then I would discard it) and then I passed it to digital frame by frame, where I corrected some errors. Don't use any specific sketch method except for the bottom left box where for faces use a little of the Loomis method.
Boceto primero lo realice a mano en una hoja de papel (reciclada porque no sabía cuántos intentos haría y luego la iba a desechar) y luego la pase a digital cuadro por cuadro, en donde corregí algunos errores. No use ningún método de boceto especifico a excepción del cuadro de abajo a la izquierda donde para los rostros use un poco de el método Loomis.
first frame – a life in the river.
We can observe a representation of what puppy mentions in his story, where they put him in a sock and throw him in the river ☹ Despite being the first painting, I actually did it as a second, the process was simple, first highlight the sketch with the tones From each thing (the lines of the blue river, those of the brown trees, etc.) then with the “filler” tool I made a color base on each element of the frame, and then with the “blurred pencil” brush, add shadows, gradients and details.

podemos observar una representación de lo que menciona perrito en su historia, donde lo meten en un calcetín y lo echan al rio
Pese a ser el primer cuadro en realidad lo hice de segundo
el proceso fue simple, primero remarque el boceto con los tonos de cada cosa (las líneas del rio azul, las de los arboles marrón, etc.) luego con la herramienta “relleno” hice una base de color en cada elemento del cuadro, para después con el pincel “lápiz difuminado” agregar sombras, degradados y detalles.

Segundo cuadro – La mirada de la muerte
me enfoque en la mirada sanguinaria de lobo, para dar cierta intimidación al espectador como ya explique anteriormente
para los ojos hice un degradado de tonos rojos en la retina, y en la esclerótica un degradado de color negro y rojo al acercarse a la retina para dar un efecto de alumbrado (use el pincel “lápiz difuminado”)
para el pelaje use el “pincel difuminado 5” he hice varias capas en los tonos correspondientes de oscuro a claro.
third box – wolf in the rock.
A scene with important details, use the same method as in the first frame but a little simpler since I feel that adding atmosphere details was going to overshadow certain details of the plot that I add to this one Scene, such as: we can observe traces of a car and a person on the other side of the river, implying that they are from the former dog owner, and that Lobo observed everything that happened.
tercer cuadro – Lobo en el peñasco Una escena con detalles importantes, Use el mismo método que en el primer cuadro pero un poco mas simple ya que siento que agregar detalles de ambiente iba a opacar ciertos detalles de la trama que agregue a esta escena, como por ejemplo: Podemos observar huellas de un auto y una persona al otro lado del rio, dando a entender que son del ex dueño de perrito, y que lobo observo todo lo sucedido.
Fourth frame - Doggy sock. >
we can observe wolf lifting puppy with his weapon, the fact that he wielded the weapon is for me a representation that he was going to kill him but confused by not smelling fear he decides to see well who is in there to check on seeing him at The eyes After drawing the sketch of this scene use the same coloring method as in the second frame but simpler, and using only “blur brush” on the “Filling” tool.
Cuarto cuadro – calcetín de perrito
podemos observar a lobo alzando a perrito con sus arma, el hecho de que empuñara el arma es para mí una representación de que este lo iba a asesinar pero confundido por no oler miedo este decide ver bien quien está allí adentro para comprobar viéndolo a los ojo. Luego de trazar el boceto de esta escena use el mismo método de coloreado que en segundo cuadro pero más simple, y usando solo “pincel difuminado” sobre la herramienta “relleno”.
fifth and last frame – have a Life. >
Wolf is appreciated leaving behind, leaving a puppy behind... next to the phrase "You haven't lived yet" which already explained its meaning before. A scene that, although it seems a little evil, let's not forget that wolf is death, and the fact of letting live A puppy is a very noble act coming from this.
we can also appreciate a small detail that I feel that gives a magnificent touch, and it is the "wanted" poster with the image of a puss in boots that is on the tree... and if you detail the farthest tree you will notice that the Corner of a torn poster... which could be said to be the one that wolf took...
The coloring method for the stage was exactly the same as scene 1, and the coloring of wolf and puppy is more or less the same as the scene 4.
To finish everthing I used a filter called “Smooth” since I felt that it gave more somber touch to the story, I dont know if using a filter to highlight the tones is trap in the digital drawing so I leave Both versions so you can see the original result
Quinto y último cuadro – ten una vida Se aprecia a lobo marchándose dejando a perrito atrás… junto a la frase “aun no has vivido” la cual ya explique su significado anteriormente. Una escena que aunque parezca un poco malvada no olvidemos que lobo es La Muerte, y el hecho de dejar vivir a perrito es un acto muy noble viniendo de esta
También podemos apreciar un pequeño detalle que siento que da un toque magnifico, y es el poster de “Se Busca” con la imagen de Gato con botas que está en el árbol… y si detallan el árbol más lejano notaran que esta la esquina de un poster arrancado… el cual se podría decir que fue el que lobo se llevó…
El método de coloreado para el escenario fue exactamente el mismo de la escena 1, y el coloreado de lobo y perrito es más o menos el mismo de la escena 4.
para finalizar todo utilice un filtro llamado “smooth” ya que sentí que le daba un toque mas sombrio a la historia, no se si utilizar filtros para realzar tonos sea trampa en el dibujo digital, asi que aquí les dejo ambas versiones para que puedan ver el resultado original
