Have you heard of the White Angel? He is synonymous to hope, salvation and miracles. This is one of the most famous frescoes and one of my favorites. It is a fresco that spreads the message of love and peace, and it was created in the Middle Ages.
The fresco depicts an angel sitting with spread wings on a stone. The most interesting thing about this fresco is the look of the angel, in fact, it is about the fact that the angel, from whatever angle you look at it, looks you straight in the eye and that is its greatest characteristic.
What speaks of its importance is precisely the fact that it was chosen as the most important work of European art.
