The Last 3 Ravens in the Series
These are the last three in the series of 6 raven paintings that my wife created to sell in her studio. If you haven't seen them yet, please check them out here: 1, 2, 3
All of these mini paintings were created a few months before the corona virus outbreak in Amanda's studio. She had recently been invited to create some work for an Edgar Allen Poe exhibit.
The pieces that she created for that exhibit were massive! Perhaps a subject of a separate post. That being said, they were priced to sell for a pretty penny. A lot of folks perusing the show showed an interest in the work, but it was clearly way out of their price range. That is how these pieces were born!
She had planned on making a large collection of these and perhaps make prints but unfortunately the pandemic happened so we haven't really been able to get back to the studio. Perhaps once things calm down a bit she'll be able to get in there and create some new work!
Very talented .. like the blue black color...😊
Same here - it has a particular feel to it, doesn't it?
As a fan of Edgar Allan Poe, i like the last one because of its stance....
Have a nice day...
Yeah, me too. It is my favorite - I like the color palette.
These really are amazing @nuthman and I love crows/ravens. Well done.
Thanks Donna! Much appreciated.
Oh wow, that top one is money. What a spectacular action shot. Very nice job! I have really enjoyed the posts in this series.
Pretty cool, huh? I like how she got the bits of snow in there too.
Wow these are gorgeous! Hope they go like hotcakes and she makes several...slightly less shiny pennies worth a pretty penny? XD (I'm not sure how these pretty pennies work XP)
Thanks! She actually sold most of them. When the lockdown lifts, I think she's going the make a huge set of small works. Not sure what the subjects will be.
Yay for selling most of them! I'm not surprised, they're really good XD
I like the last two!
The last is my favorite. I like the color combo
It is very beautiful
Love them !
Thanks!
Cool ravens. I like your other posts too. Following you and waiting for more paintings and photos! :)
