Welcome to the second installment of the OCA Daily Favorites where we share a few of the awesome works that were shared and curated in the OnChainArt Community.
For more information about what this is about check out this post.
Before we jump into the posts I do want to share a bit of community news since we're here. I mentioned in a previous post that the OCA Community is working in collaboration with the Hive user @dalz to provide some weekly community analytics about what's happening in the community. He actually already shared the first round of that data with me a while back and I never managed to get around to posting the info, and we're already at a point of getting more data. So for one, I want to go ahead and share that data and I want to encourage all you OnChainArtists to register with the #POSH initiative that you can learn more about here
https://peakd.com/posh/@acidyo/posh-info-and-faq
I'll be setting aside a portion of the earnings of OCA to reward the highest performers and give you all a little extra incentive to engage in the activities we find most valuable here.
In summary, the POSH initiative will track the engagement level of your shared tweets and distribute a token to you based on the level of engagement. Along with that OCA will reward you on top of that for the people that are creating the most engaging content on twitter.
It will take a bit to get this all set up and to build up some funds, but it's all in the works and we'll figure it all out.
Along with tying some rewards to the POSH initiative, we'll also be rewarding the OCA Community members with the highest metrics in a few areas.
- Who's posted the most (of course spamming will get you muted, so don't do that, but we mean, high quality contributions)
- Who's earned the most (If a lot of people are upvoting you, you must be doing something right)
- Who's commented the most
- Who's posts received the most comments
Seeing as how I sort of missed the boat for the first batch of data I'll just start with the next ones, but here is the data from March 21st - July 27th

Thank you so much for the feature! Drawing this fan art had been a real blast. :)
Anyway, my jaw literally dropped while reading how much I posted (!!!), earned (!!!), and written and received comments in the last few months. Data can be so incredible, and I appreciate this initiative! It felt like I was reading a review of how I did as a community member, and I'm happy to know I've been engaging with the others well. 🧡
Wow thanks thanks. n.n
Wooaah! What a great selection of art for today's favorites! And this initiative is very cool. Listing users in a "good hivers" list will be a success to encourage us all to give the best on the platform. I congratulate you for such a good idea, and at the same time I congratulate all the good users nominated in this post today, keep up the good things!
I have a question regarding the #POSH initiative: Is it right or wrong to use twitter just to share Hive posts? I'm not an active twitter user; but in case there would be no problem with proceeding that way, I would like to support the #POSH initiative by using twitter only to share my Hive posts (I've done it before and stopped doing it because I thought it was wrong for not being an active twitter user). I would be very grateful if you could clarify this question :)
Really beautiful compilation there, and I'm glad to hear more progress and growth is set up for OnChainArt. Maybe one day, we'll reach the same popularity as DeviantArt or ArtStation, eh? 😁
