Hello there, my name is Luciano Panachão i'm an artist from Brazil, based in São Paulo and also a huge fan of some cult classics like John Waters' "Pink Flamingos".
And influenced by this great movie i had to paint the most famous pose of this muse called Divine. Here's the whole process of the painting:
I first sketched the subject getting the main body lines.
then i started roughly to make the background.
getting some colors to the dress...
Skin and hair...
some rough details...
and the final step working on highlights and deep shadows...
and this is me hanging on my parents' wall :D
