I recently worked on a two piece collection titled "The Laws of Giving", which is about well, giving!
This art piece is one of them. It was inspired by a Yorùbá proverb which says, "Òkè lọwọ afúnii gbé" and translates, "The giver's hand remains up". This is a piece from the wisdom of our forefathers.
The giver always has to give, and stays on top in life. Generosity always pays in the end.
I've always loved going deeper into the inspiration of my art with symbols and patterns, zoom in to see the details
