I have never worn a fancy hat and only wear fancy dresses to weddings, classical concerts, and gatherings. Which has happened 3 times in the last ten years. I wish I could dress up and go somewhere fancy, but that is not my lifestyle. I have 3 fancy dresses in case something comes up. Maybe I should buy a fancy hat just in case!

Not sure how i feel about it.
I like it, but it really does make me feel uneasy.
The hat is clearly the focal point.
So much text and color there.
However, focussing on anywhere else, there is massive detail.
The hair, so many pen strokes
The pearls... how much time did you spend there??!!
Even the dress, looks like three layers of water color
But the woman, the face, barely outlined.

You caught the vibe, my friend. What do people look at when looking at a beautiful woman? A man looks at the mouth and other physical attributes, what is sexual, to arouse, to conquer to own. The women look ps at what threatens their territory, the clothes, the jewelry, a body that outshines theirs, what they “think” they are lacking.
I can't remember how long the detailing took, but I had to finish it in one day 😆
