Composition
This time I resorted to an old practice in design, and that was to distribute the elements within the image using the mythical golden ratio or Fibonacci series which to explain in a simple way is a mathematical formula developed a couple of centuries ago that generates a harmonic proportion in spiral and that from there, gives play to different formal interventions that serve to guide the location of some objects if you want to focus attention on a certain point in a visually pleasing way, or at least for that was developed...

Esta vez recurrí a una vieja práctica dentro del diseño, y fue distribuir los elementos dentro de la imagen usando la mítica proporción áurea o serie Fibonacci la cual para explicar de manera simple es una fórmula matemática desarrollada hace un par de siglos que genera una proporción armónica en espiral y que a partir de allí, da juego a diferentes intervenciones formales que sirven para orientar la ubicación de algunos objetos si se quiere focalizar la atención en cierto punto de manera agradable visualmente, o al menos para eso se desarrolló...

I started by making any kind of doodle that was intended to materialize the preconceived idea of the first paragraphs of the story, and I came up with these only 3 elements that seemed not to overload the space and that coincide with the premeditated approach in the composition.

At this point I had to start defining the style that the illustration would take and this time, based on what the narrative conveyed to me, I executed a combination of stain and free weave, where there would only be a solid fill and the predominance of lines to define the character of the whole piece.

Lineart and Values
The outlining or lineart was the easiest and most fun to do, because this technique makes your concentration flow rhythmically, which makes it fast and efficient. Then in a later layer is the definition of the values in each element of the image or at least the ones that were missing.

Lattice and filter
Finally I applied a layer of white and gray mesh to give a little more expressiveness to the subject, some emulation of shadows and lights, accompanied with some adjustment to the contrasts and appropriate lighting filters that the Paintool SAI provides me.

Por último aplique una capa de entramado en blanco y grises para darle un poco más de expresividad al asunto, algo de emulación de sombras y luces, acompañados con algo de ajuste a los contrastes y filtros adecuados de iluminación que el Paintool SAI me dispone.
