Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
Yesterday in the afternoon there was a lesson of the art class in my lab and so, as usual, I placed my small working table between the other students and I worked on my artworks while my hubby @paolobeneforti was teaching to them. I spent a couple of hours chatting about art with them, while my brushes run on the paper and I also started a new oil painting on a large canvas, so I can say thy were a very fruitful hours. ^_^
This morning I woke up soon to give the last touches to a new artwork I painted yesterday and so now I can shor you the final result:
During the past years I sketched (and painted) different balloons in form of faces. A balloon is something that reminds me the childhood, but it reminds me also that, sometimes, we need to watch the things from the right distance to understand what it's happening with an open mind.
This piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do every time I paint a new artwork, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process:
