The Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) - oil on paper

Hello hivers, an happy Wednesday to you all!
yesterday, after the lunch, me and my hubby @paolobeneforti went to a beautiful park in my city. This park is not so far from my home and when we have free time and the weather is warm, we love to go there to spend an hour or two close to the lake inside of it. There are many ducks, all of them very friendly with people and there is also a little island in the center of the lake where no one can go (just ducks and birds). This park was part of a wonderful villa of a rich family of the past and the last member of that family decided to leave the park to the municipality upon his death (a couple of centuries ago) and so now we can enjoy all those beauties.
Today I'm here to share with you a small portrait of a duck I painted this morning:

I was inspired by a wonderful (large) duck I watched yesterday inside the park. It was a Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) and you can see this beauty in the pics I took with my camera:

The piece is an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A6 size and, like I use to do, I took some pics while I was painted this funny duck so you can see the process too:
