This work always seemed to me so animal, so literal, although perhaps it's only for me, that I made it and I know exactly where it comes from and what it is. Perhaps for the viewers it may be an absolute abstraction. I invite you to analyze this image and make your own conclusions.
As part of the Mutations series, I have the feeling that here is a body in full metamorphosis, a half-assembled figure that has been interrupted in its process and therefore shows its wounds more than skin deep. Deep cuts that didn't get to close to become this new being. I like this interpretation. It's definitely a first time for me. Maybe it's just fleeting and to accompany the piece on this occasion. Perhaps it is tinged with current feelings rather than those that accompanied me back then, but what can I say, my work feeds back and something from that time is still latent.
This is a really difficult piece of work to look at, yet it is one from which I struggle to take my eyes from. Great work.
Thanks! somehow, even though I painted it, it's the same for me. There is something that catches me about this image. I don't know what it is
I think, because at a glance, your mind tries to recognise it, but can't quite do that. Then my brain thinks, oh it could be this, or this... but wait no... and on that thought pattern goes.
hahaha, I think that's how you say, yeah.😆

For me the painting is nearly confrontational in its narrative, very bold and strong, intimidating. I really like nearly black shadows, which makes the image so three-dimensional, and gives such a level of immersion that makes me almost anxious. Incredible!
Thank you! I like to know how people look at my work, what it generates in them. There's something about what you tell me that I also see, or feel. I like that an image like this, difficult to read, generates those sensations.
For me if there is only one interpretation - it is just boring art 😃
