Years ago I lived and worked for a man in his home in woody western Massachusetts. It was a unique area; out in the woods yet somehow felt connected to the rest of the world. All the good bands played there due to the 5 colleges, yet somehow you only had to take a short walk to see and hear nothing but birds.
I digress down memory land; anyway I used to leave during the day when another caregiver was working. I would visit my friends or family, go to a café or have a walk in the woods. All to often I would find myself perusing the stacks of the local library and getting lost; I would read entire science fiction books, research old myths and lose myself in pictures.
This image conveys the feeling of those long lonely days.
