
Black-and-white is a great and everlasting classic concept. Something that one shouldn't forget are all the grey shades in between, responsible for depth and shadows. With black-and-white you focalize on composition and form and it is easier to focus on the image as a whole.
As one is used to see the world in color, when you see something in black-and-white you just stop and have a closer look. Looking at black-and-white makes your brain to work slower...giving you more time to evaluate what you see without distractions.
The works are kind of timeless, excluding and at the same time containing all colors. That I couldn't resist to put a colored spot in each of these works might say something about me working most of the time with colors.
