This is a picture I painted imagining a scene of fishing with a lure.
By the way, when I started analog painting, that is, oil and acrylic painting,
I was shocked to hear a story.
The person who told me this story was a painter who had graduated from an art college, and to my surprise, everyone in the same department in the same year, with the exception of the person who told me this story, stopped painting after graduation.

I was shocked to learn that no matter what career path they chose, they all ended up working in the same company.
Well, it is up to each student to choose his or her own career path, and there may be a sense of anxiety about the future.
However, I have calculated that more than 90% of them do not become artists even after graduating from art school.

By the way, the university I graduated from is now regarded as half an art university, but it was an engineering university and had a department of architecture and design.

これは私が創った作品です。
「釣り」
ミクストメディア、14x18cm、2023
これはルアーで魚釣りをしている場面を想像して描いた絵です。
ところで私がアナログ絵画、すなわち油絵やアクリル画を始めたころに、聴いてショックだった話があります。
その話をした人は美大を出た画家でしたが、なんと同学年の同じ学科の人はその人を除いて皆、卒業したら絵をやめて絵とは関係ない普通の会社員になったというのです。
まあどういう進路を選ぼうがその人の自由ですし、将来への不安というのもあるのでしょうが、こう（あくまでも私の大雑把な計算ですが）9割以上が
美大を卒業しても作家にならないという現実を知り、何のために４年間も美に
行ったんだろうとは思います。美大は学費が高いのに、と思います。
ちなみに私の出た大学は今でこそ半分美大扱いされているみたいですが、工科系の大学で、建築とかデザインの学科があって、私はデザインを学びました。なので油絵やアクリル画は独学なんです。
