In the old days, when I didn't always have the opportunity to buy high-quality art materials and tools, I experimented with different techniques, sometimes mixing them in my works. So, for example, I suddenly found out that gouache on thick cardboard is perfectly combined with colored and simple pencils, if, of course, you keep a balance in the drawing.
In this work, just a similar combination of techniques is used. I made different clippings, enlarging several sections of the image so that I could understand what this picture consists of.
В прежние времена, когда у меня не всегда была возможность купить качественные художественные материалы и инструменты, я эксперементировал с разными техниками, смешивая их порой в своих работах. Так, например, я вдруг выяснил, что гуашь на крафтовом плотном картоне отлично сочетается с цветными и простыми карандашами, если, конечно соблюдать баланс в рисунке.
В данной работе как раз используется подобное сочетание техник. Я сделал разные вырезки, увеличив несколько участков изображения, чтобы можно было понять, из чего состоит данная картина.
Hey, how did you color the building it looks too smooth? On the other hand, the trees and the right side of the building color look smudged. Did you use highlighters?
Oh! At first (distant) layer I just used gouache painting with flat brushes. Nearest layer I draw by colored and simple pencils ) Cheers!
