I headed out with the intention of visiting this lovely lake in the neighboring city; I looked it up on Google Maps and was ready to go. One fascinating aspect of utilizing this map for me is that I'm still trying to get accustomed to it, despite the fact that I thought I had it figured out. So I started the trip by taking the train, which was probably the easiest part.
From the moment I got off the train, it became interesting. I started following its direction; at first, I didn't bother looking to see if I was on the right trail; I was too busy enjoying the walk well at first considering how chilly it was. Enjoying the scenery, even got myself some hot chocolate to enjoy as I went on.
After walking for about 20 minutes, dutifully following the directions of the map, I noticed something was not right. I stood still to look thoroughly, turned the map facing each road like a million times, scratched my head like a thousand time, by this time I began to feel the cold in my bones...I am not even lying right now. I walked around a bit, only to discover that I was right back at the train station, only this time it was the side entrance.
You cannot imagine how pissed I was, I was shocked, felt dumb, and it was really cold. I mean, at this point I went straight in to the station, took the next train home and thought in my head "never again Google map, never again".
For the good part I got to take some pictures of a park along the way, I hope you like them hahaha, been a long while.

In every moment a choice exists. We can cling to the past or embrace the inevitability of change and allow a brighter future to unfold before us … Either way, a new day is coming … The question is will you control it, or will it control you? -Niklaus Mikaelson. 'The Originals'
Can't totally trust Google Maps. It got me lost once walkinground and round a place and never bring me to the destination.
Hahaha, I guess we have all been there at some point. I just ask anyone around for directions now, better than wasting time circling a particular area. Thanks for your comment. 😁
You're welcome.
You're welcome.
This is an instructive history of using new technologies. I often ask passers-by and local residents for directions.
Yeah, I totally agree, that is my new method now to be honest. Thanks for stopping by.
Ha! Good ol' google. Love the end quote there, huge fan.
Niklaus is just the best tbh lol.
Yes. Have you watched the Legacies spin off? Hope goes all ripper in the last season 😁
