Hello, how are you? I’m new here; I apologize if my English isn’t very good, as it’s not my native language. However, I’m making a great effort to communicate and be part of this community. I understand that this initiative is your baby, and I congratulate you for that. I firmly believe that the world needs more spaces where people can share their stories.
I agree with you that everything we do is a story. Contrary to what people might believe or think, we all have something to tell. Our lives, from the moment we are born, are already stories worth telling. Each of our experiences, our lives, our anecdotes can be the main idea of a work, a book, a great story; something that inspires, motivates, and encourages someone else. We just think that for a life to be extraordinary, that’s what we believe, a story must be surrounded by thousands of important or outstanding events. Because that’s what we’ve been led to believe: the stereotype that only those who climb Everest have a story worth telling, and not the person who takes down the posters every day, the one who sweeps the streets every day, or the one who collects the garbage every day. They also have a story worth telling. Our entire lives are worth telling. So, I applaud this space and hope to contribute to its continued growth. Thank you for sharing your story and for bringing this reflection. 😊
