My name is Godsgift Robinson and this is my first write up I hope it goes great.
So I went through the streets few days ago, walking through it's wall, I got touched from what I saw, which am here to share.
okay I went to visit a friend and on my way I saw a lady sitting by the road side, she was so helpless beging for alms and from her state you would know she wasn't pretending. She was with a child I think 5 Years old if am not mistaken. The child was just there half dressed and she looked so hungry that she was busy grabbing people's clothes and legs but she was always pushed off. when I got there she was literally looking at me like I had to bring out my last cash to her, she was so happy that she ran back to the mum and gave her the money.
God! I wish you were there to experience the whole scenery. I wasn't with my phone I would have taken some shots but on my next write up depending on the current reaction I will present the shots.
But later that day I was so worried that I made a research on Google on the topic "poverty"
I got reminded that many are out they in the cool nights with no food, no shelter, putting on rags, nothing to sleep on. At a point I was so grateful to God for my state though am not rich, not wealthy but am satisfied, so is most of us.
what worried me is that our leaders aren't doing anything about it, especially here in Nigeria cost of living and everything is very high. most of these people are talented but no opportunities for them, no one is ready to assist nor to hear them out.
Am not criticizing my country but I think our leaders should come out of their selfish state. what do I mean by selfish state, opportunities are only for the persons relatives who is on power and they call it slots so if you don't have anybody who is rich or on power you get to be frustrated so no work no money to keep up they end up living in the streets. Example a guy who ended up in the streets he is a man so those sexual urges are the, so he might end up impregnating his fellow street member who is looking for means of survival also, now he has no money to keep up so how would he take care of the child and the mother. when that child is successfully brought to these world he/she gets to go through this...
it's so painful that none of our leaders are concerned and from my modeled will never get concerned. All they are after is to gather much money for their children and families.
I pray God put us in the state to help others.
