Hello dear hivers,its me again, and today,I want to share with you guys some of my memorable journey where I introduced myself as the SK (Sangguniang Kabataan) Cup muse representative of colon,and I did introduce myself at the time when the SK summer league in colon was already time for opening.
I was very happy at that time because out of thousands of residents here in barangay colon,they contacted me and chose me to be their representative, so they showed me that they had trust in me and that they always believed in me. I said yes because I always do believe that experience is always the best teacher.
May 5, 2024, was the opening day of Skcolon, and I woke up early to prepare myself and went to my make-up artist at exactly 12:00 pm to make me more beautiful because the parade will start at 4pm and it is better if we are early than late.
After the hair and make-up are already all done,the parade is about to start, which is why I go to the SK counselors to get the sash and join the parade.
After the parade,I sat beside our SK chairperson, Duday, and watched the event from the beginning until the end. After the parade, prayers, anthems, and opening remarks are always part of starting an event. And to start,the barangay captain was the one assigned for the opening remarks.
All the muses are staying beside me because it looks messy if they stand in front while speaking, and the competition for the best muses hasn't started yet. After all the speeches,it is time to turn the torch.🔥
And here we go, and the most anticipated part is when it is time to introduce the pretty, lovely representatives of each sitio, showing their confidence and beauty.✨
I had my cousin also join, and I took a picture while she was doing her things, like rampa. As a childhood best friend and a cousin to her,I am very proud to see how she boosts her confidence because Diane is a shy girl who is afraid to communicate or scared of a lot of people, but she is still always smiling while doing her rampa.
While watching, I also took a funny selfie of myself, and here's what it looks like(HAHAHAHAHA)😄
When the introduction of muses is about to end,I saw my nephew, whose name is Zyanya, wearing muses attire, and I remember how she always told me that when she grows up,she wants to be like me, and it is very cute hearing those words coming from her own mouth.She idolized me 100%. HAHAHAHAHA.
While the judges are computing,my cousin Diane and Zyanya come to me, and I give them a hug and take pictures. I also tell Diane that I am very proud of her no matter what, even if she wins or loses, because losing is part of the game, but still, no matter what happens,I am very proud of her.
I also took advantage of taking a picture with my make-up artist because, ever since day one,we didn’t have any pictures.
When the emcee already announced the second,first runner-up, and best muse,we took pictures to become memories because memories will last forever.📸
After the picture,I go to my supportive neighbors because they want to take some pictures with me, and I say yes because having them by my side also gives me more confidence. Their loud cheers make me think that they are there to support me when there is an event.
We also took pictures📸 of the secretary of the SK chairperson because she is the one who teaches me everything.
After all,I also took a serious picture of myself because it is very needed because, beside the line MEMORIES WILL LONG LAST FOREVER,I will send it to my handler to post to her social media account so that she can gain more customers. I think it is a small help to her, and I’m always willing to help her as long as I can do it.
We took pictures with the officials and the winners to post to the page as well.
So that's it for today's blog. We must never forget that increasing our self-confidence is really beneficial to us. Increasing self-confidence has a positive impact on our general wellbeing and personal development. Developing our sense of self-worth makes it easier for us to rise to the occasion and respond positively to trying circumstances. We may improve both personally and professionally when we have the confidence to take chances and grab opportunities that we might otherwise pass up. As we speak more clearly and firmly, it also facilitates the development of stronger relationships.
We develop resilience and perseverance, which are necessary for accomplishing our objectives and realizing our full potential, by having faith in our skills and abilities.
