I hadn't done any acrylic flow art in a while, so the other day, I grabbed my paints and two canvasses and went to work. This particular type of flow art is created by blowing around colorful paints by means of a hairdryer or similar implement on a bed of very thin white paint. This technique is referred to as a "Dutch Pour".
Proud as a peacock of my accomplishment, I showed the results of my labors to my hubby Folker after I was done. His laconic comment was "Nice lettuce. Hey, if you paint one more and add a little balsamico we can have a tasty salad..." 😀 What do you think? Was he spot on or just being a smartass?

Ich hatte schon seit einiger Zeit keine Acryl-Fließbilder mehr gemalt, also schnappte ich mir neulich meine Farben und zwei Leinwände, und machte mich an die Arbeit. Diese besondere Art von Fließbildern entsteht, indem man bunte Farben mit einem Föhn oder einem ähnlichen Gerät auf ein Bett aus sehr dünner weißer Farbe herumpustet. Diese Technik wird als "Dutch Pour" bezeichnet.
Stolz wie Oskar ob meiner Leistung zeigte ich das Ergebnis meiner Mühen meinem Mann Folker nachdem ich fertig war. Sein lakonischer Kommentar war: "Schöne Salatblätter. Hey, mal' einfach noch eins, dann noch ein Schlückchen Balsamico, und wir können einen leckeren Salat machen..." 😀 Was meint ihr? Hat er recht oder ist er einfach ein Klugscheißer?
