@trevorpetrie made an amazing post about the new drum kit with all the details that led to the decision and some amazing photos. This is by far one of the best examples of how to choose the equipment you need and have fun while doing so. Great job!
I'm not known for my ability to play the drums. In fact, I'd wager most people don't know that I play the drums more often than I pick up the guitar. I find it incredibly cathartic but also quite meditative at the same time. That and they're just darn good fun to bash away at.
One of my main concerns was making sure the manufacturer has been doing this for a while already - I don't like purchasing gear that hasn't been 'road tested' - that's what R&D departments are supposed to be for. I wanted a kit that will do the job from day one.

I woke up on a love seat in a sea of beer cans and bacon grease with a dog licking my ankles and a Marvel movie on full blast. Around me were four other unconscious bodies; some sprawled out, some still upright.
But I gotta do what I gotta do. I don't see myself being happy here. Not the way things are now. And as for what would need to change- well, I'm not gonna get into that, but it's not happening. Not here, and not anytime soon.

Who knew weeds could be so interesting and used in many different ways. If you take a closer look at this post you will soon realize that everything has a purpose when you have great goals.
At Ligaya Garden, we often bring IN weeds! Many weeds are super nutritious for both us and the garden. Even those that we use for the garden provide nutrition for us eventually through the vegetables that we eat from our block.
My Nettle and Thistle extract, when blended with a Comfrey extract gives a massive boost to flowering, fruit set and retention in the right season. It makes Tomatoes go crazy!

So actually I have had kind of the same goals for my life for some years already, everything just hasn't come to fruition yet. That's partly because of the pandemic but of course I also have a responsibility to make things happen.
As I don't like the winter here in Europe I see myself spending the cold months in Asia somewhere. Could be Thailand, Bali, or India. This can also vary from year to year. I'm rather flexible here 🙂
