♔♞♙ Chess Puzzle of the Day

puzzle position | posicion del problema

*** White to play and win ***

A rather thematic position where black suffers from the so-called "color weakness", aggravated by the hanging pawns on the queenside. White has clear ways to increase its domination and actually black is cracking already. How?

♔♞♙ Problema de ajedrez del día

puzzle position | posicion del problema

*** Juegan blancas y ganan ***

Una más bien posición temática donde el negro sufre de la así llamada "debilidad de color" agravada por los peones colgantes en el flanco dama. El blanco tiene formas claras de incrementar su dominación y de hecho el negro ya está colapsando ¿cómo?

ME GUSTA

Ca4 con miras a Cc5 y triple ataque.

En efecto! Y el negro está indefenso.

  1. Na4 Qc8 2. Nc5 Re8 3. Bxf6 Rxe1 4. Rxe1 gxf6 5. Qxf6 white has advantage in position and pawn

Yeah, it's just crushing and black is helpless.

hmmm... my guess, or what i would do as a novice player, is move knight to a4, i assuem they would move their knice maybe to g4. then i'd move knight to c5. which gives me 3 places i can attack. i assume they'd move queen to c6. then my pawn can take knight on g4. thinking on it any further than that would give me a brain fart lol. I'd have to physically play it out.

Well you're guess is correct and can probably bring you a win! You can try it out on a physical board once you're thought enough about it.

nifty! :D cool!
