Hi there Hivers!!!
Since some time ago I came back to chess and I'm watching one of the most fun and consistent initiatives of the whole Hive community: The weekly HiveChess tournament organized by @stayoutoftherz which is already facing its third season both in Steem and now in Hive. It consists of a Blitz tournament (6+0 seconds) in which all Hive users can participate and beat each other, but I warn you that there are experts in the game in these tournaments.... ;)
Just a few hours ago there was one of these weekly tournaments in which I participated at the invitation of the host, it was a very healthy and fun experience, on the one hand I am a big fan of this game and a few years ago I played it professionally so I am more than happy to play again and find out how far I can get.
I had many games that were very challenging to the point of having to rethink my strategy and redirect my pieces to a new plan, but I loved to feel the adrenaline of playing blitz again.
This time I did my best, I won all the games except one that was very difficult for me, I got in 4th position which is not bad for me that I haven't played at a blitz pace for a while.
It only remains for me to thank all those who support these small tournaments that are very entertaining both for me and for the community, they are ideal to have a little moment of peace between so much storm.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thanks for joining and I hope you can make in the coming weeks, too!
Each week the time mode is slightly different.
Hi @flaws, glad you could join us today in this week hive chess tournament. I enjoy playing in the really strong field, even those it mean very few wins.:)
