Out of nowhere @iceblue (Splitrooks) came and rocked the show with 16 points and a performance of 2337, dwarfing the remaining lineup of players!
Out of nowhere?!? That was my hard work: over the weeks I tried to convince him to join the tournament, explained him that he had got a HIVE account together with an airdrop, messaged him again five minutes before the start of the tournament, couldn't finish to cook my tea on time, which I badly needed after just waking up and missed the first round of the competition. And what did this '@iceblue' do? Did he say "Thank you for all your efforts?" Not at all, his only, unbelievable ungrateful reaction was to play a really good game against me which he could convert into a well deserved victory!!
More strong players in the tournaments improve the learning curve for everyone. So don’t stop recruiting. By the way I kind of like @iceblue lichess name. :)
I think "(The)Rooksplitter" had sounded even more violent than "Splitrooks". :-)
Many thanks! I was already assuming this player is the strong player you were mentioning that you would try to bring in. You did it!
