An excellent return to the boards
.After a great inactivity in our sport science (Chess) I received a cordial invitation from a great friend who told me to play the tournaments organized by Hive and as I am currently entering into this world I decided it was a good opportunity to return to play because apart from having fun I am also passionate about feeling the nerves in a game had been left aside but this time I have returned to feel that indescribable feeling within the critical moments of a tournament as well as the nerves to maintain the positions within the same.
The first call was on Friday at 4: 00PM Venezuela time, I entered the tournament with too much insecurity because of my inactivity but well I was only willing to give my best, make good games and enjoy but I found a big surprise I had won the first two games and began to take confidence from that moment, making moves a little strange and a little slow in the games but looking for comfortable positions where I could solve because these rates of play is where there are greater opportunities for an opponent to make serious mistakes and thus to punish them.
In my first game I faced Vjap55 who had invited me to the tournaments and luckily the result ended in victory for me, I played a Sicilian defense where in the opening everything was very normal but already in the middle game I managed to win a pawn.
That is the current position where he made the mistake of Tc8 leaving the pawn loose on d5, the game continued advancing, I kept the advantage but I had no clear ideas so things were getting complicated until I was at a disadvantage.
A series of bad moves and indecisions led me to a very uncomfortable and almost lost position, but in these game rhythms you must always fight to the end because as I have been saying, if the ideas are not very clear it will not be easy to solve the game, so I started to play with the time pressure of my opponent until I managed to reach a winning position after several consecutive errors on his part.
At this moment black abandons and so I get my first victory, in the second round I faced someone with a lower ranking where I played a little calmer and with less pressure, In this way I could develop my pieces as I usually do and end up winning the game without any inconvenience although I felt that I was still a little slow and the pace of play was Blitz with 5+0 something a little aggressive because you do not have the increment and in several games you can play with the opponent's time, in this case who was at a disadvantage was me because it took me a long time to calculate the combinations and even at some point I got to calculate things that were not of great help.
Arrived my third game I faced a Candidate to master Oniel Revilla (Eniolw) at this time at first I thought that my streak was over because we have faced many times in person and the score is in his favor but by a wide margin, it has always cost me to play against this uncomfortable opponent as it seeks to avoid much positional problems and plays with a lot of strategy and subtlety.
My squeeze was a Rook attack since I have been playing it since I was a kid and it is where I could feel more comfortable and make a pretty decent game.
At this point of the game something quite interesting happens since my opponent plays the move Ch5 against that reply there was the variation Axd7 Dxd7 g5! Nf6 Tg1 Trying some plan to destroy the defense of that castling previously made and leave the g column semi-open where the rook can gain some strength but due to nerves and insecurity I preferred to keep the position a little quiet and the game continued with 0-0 Cd7 Dd2.
Later we concluded in an equal position but playing both with little time so I decided to propose a draw and in view of the same my opponent accepted, at that moment I thought I was not doing anything wrong and was satisfied with the game I had offered, I kept me in the top positions in the table and that had me very excited, here began the struggle to remain on the podium.

In my 4th game I won again, this time with berseck and adding a point more than usual that kept me in the fire, but one game later I would face Tony1294 one of the first ranked at that time with 2284 elo points almost 200 points above me where this great player in the move # 9 gives me a pawn to keep an advantage in its development and an active position.
I felt quite comfortable since I had a little advantage but I made the mistake of not castling and he took advantage of it by playing Aa3 leaving my king during the whole game in the center of the board which is something very dangerous but nevertheless the game was not very clear and we would continue in a great fight where I was able to gain a quality advantage.
But unfortunately it would not be enough to end up winning this great game that ended in a draw by repetition of moves.
Then in the 6th game I faced again Vjap55 where I managed to have again some advantage and conclude winning the game and at this moment I was undefeated after 6 games without defeat but at this moment my luck would end because in the 7th game I was defeated against Tz995 a player who was better ranked than me with 2168 in the ranking it was a difficult defeat and somewhat painful because I had played quite well that game reaching a fairly even position.
However, I was not capable enough to keep this position and I got my first and only defeat in this good tournament, this player would end up placed 6th at the end of the tournament, one place below me.
In the final stretch of the tournament I managed to play 4 more games, one of them with who came 2nd in the final ranking jaki01 where we had a strong fight, quite close and interesting game, both looking for resources to win.
Where I felt quite comfortable but without being able to neglect the threats of my opponent, in this midgame the best part was mine! I managed to get a quality advantage after a good combination that left me on the verge of winning the game.
Cxb4 Dxb4 Dxa1+ But I got into a big time trouble where I did not know how to finish off to end up winning, this way I could not solve the problem of the inactivity of my pieces in the 8th row and so the game would end in a draw.
After this difficult result I obtained three consecutive victories and almost at the end of the event I was third in the standings but I was overtaken by Eniolw and Blackswan21 who were faster and used the berseck to score more points, unfortunately with my good results I did not reach the podium but the fight will continue!
Not bad for a return after several months without seeing a continuous activity within the boards with a performance of 2304 points well above my current ranking with 7 wins 3 boards and one loss I retire very happy with the performance and will continue to participate in these events trying to climb better positions, I say goodbye not before congratulating the Master Candidate Sawkito (Carlos Abiad) great player of Blitz games and that success continues!
Un excelente regreso a los tableros
Luego de una gran inactividad dentro de nuestro deporte ciencia (Ajedrez) he recibido la cordial invitación de un gran amigo el cual me decía que jugara los torneos que organiza Hive y como actualmente estoy ingresando dentro de este mundo decidí que era una buena oportunidad para volver a jugar ya que aparte de divertirme me apasiona ademas el sentir los nervios dentro de una partida habían quedado de lado pero esta vez he vuelto a sentir esa sensación indescriptible dentro de los momentos críticos de un torneo como también los nervios de mantener las posiciones dentro del mismo.
El primer llamado fue el día viernes a las 4:00PM hora de Venezuela, ingrese al torneo con demasiada inseguridad por lo que comentaba anteriormente de mi inactividad pero bueno solo iba dispuesto a dar lo mejor de mi, hacer buenas partidas y disfrutar pero me encontré con una gran sorpresa había ganado las dos primeras partidas y empezaba a tomar confianza desde ese preciso momento, realizando jugadas un poco extrañas y algo lento dentro de las partidas pero buscando posiciones cómodas donde pudiese resolver ya que estos ritmos de juego es donde se presentan mayores oportunidades de que un rival cometa graves errores y así poder castigarles.
En mi primera partida me enfrentaba a Vjap55 quien me había invitado a los torneos y por suerte el resultado concluyo en victoria para mi, se jugo una defensa siciliana donde en la apertura todo estuvo muy normal pero ya en el medio juego logro ganar un peón
Esa es la posición actual donde comete el error de Tc8 dejando suelto el peón que se encuentra en d5, la partida siguió avanzando, mantenía la ventaja pero no tenia ideas claras por lo cual se me fueron complicando las cosas hasta quedar en desventaja.
Una serie de malas jugadas e indecisiones me llevaron a una posición muy incomoda y casi perdida pero en estos ritmos de juego siempre se debe luchar hasta el final ya que como les venia diciendo si no están muy claras las ideas no sera fácil resolver la partida, de esta manera comencé a jugar con el apuro de tiempo de mi rival hasta lograr llegar a una posición ganadora luego de varios errores seguidos de su parte
En este momento las negras abandonan y así obtengo mi primera victoria, en la segunda ronda me enfrento con alguien de menor ranking donde jugué un poco mas tranquilo y con menos presión, de esa manera pude desarrollar mis piezas como suelo hacerlo y terminar ganando la partida sin ningún inconveniente aunque sentía que estaba algo lento aun y el ritmo de juego era Blitz con 5+0 algo un poco agresivo ya que no se tiene el incremento y en varias partidas se puede jugar con el tiempo del rival, en este caso quien estaba en desventaja era yo ya que me tomaba mucho tiempo calcular las combinaciones e incluso en algún momento llegue a calcular cosas que no eran de gran ayuda
Llegada mi tercera partida me enfrento con un Candidato a maestro Oniel Revilla (Eniolw) en este momento al principio pensaba que mi racha había terminado ya que nos hemos enfrentado muchas veces presencial y el score esta a su favor pero por un amplio margen, siempre me ha costado jugar contra este incomodo rival ya que busca evitar mucho los problemas posicionales y juega con mucha estrategia y sutileza
Mi apretura fue un ataque de Torre ya que desde niño la juego y es donde me podía sentir mas cómodo y hacer una partida bastante decente
En este momento de la partida se presenta algo bastante interesante Ya que mi rival realiza la jugada Ch5 contra esa respuesta existía la variante Axd7 Dxd7 g5! Cf6 Tg1 Intentando algún plan para destruir la defensa de ese enroque previamente realizada y dejar la columna g semi abierta por donde la torre puede cobrar un poco de fuerza pero por temas de nervios e inseguridad preferí mantener la posición un poco tranquila y la partida continuo con 0-0 Cd7 Dd2
Posteriormente concluimos en una posición igualada pero jugando ambos con poco tiempo por lo que decidí proponer tablas y en vista de lo mismo mi rival acepto, en ese momento pensé que no lo estaba haciendo nada mal y estaba satisfecho con el juego que había ofrecido, me mantenía en los puestos de arriba en la tabla y eso me tenia muy emocionada, aquí empezó la lucha por seguir estando dentro del podio

En mi 4to partida volví a ganar, esta vez con berseck y sumando un punto mas de lo habitual que me mantuviese metido en la candela, pero una partida mas tarde me enfrentaría a Tony1294 uno de los primeros rankeados en ese momento con 2284 puntos de elo casi 200 puntos por encima de mi donde este gran jugador en la jugada #9 me entrega un peón para mantener ventaja en su desarrollo y una posición activa
Yo me sentía bastante cómodo ya que tenia un poco de ventaja pero cometí el error de no enrocarme y el lo aprovecho jugando Aa3 dejando a mi rey durante toda la partida en el centro del tablero lo cual es algo muy peligroso pero sin embargo no estaba muy clara la partida y seguiríamos en una gran lucha donde pude alcanzar ganar una calidad de ventaja
Pero lastimosamente no seria suficiente para acabar ganando esta genial pertida que termino en tablas por repeticion de jugadas
Luego en la 6ta partida me vuelvo a enfrentar a Vjap55 donde logre volver a tener algo de ventaja y concluir ganando la partida y pues en este momento mantenia un invicto luego de 6 partidas sin conocer la derrota pero en este momento mi suerte acabaria ya que en la 7ma partidad cai derrotado contra Tz995 un jugador que estaba mejor rankeado que yo con 2168 en el ranking fue una dificil derrota y algo dolorosa ya que habia jugado bastante bien esa partida alcanzando una posicion bastante igualada
Conduciendo yo las piezas blancas, mas sin embargo no seria lo suficientemente capaz para mantener esta posición y obtuve mi primera y única derrota dentro de este buen torneo, este jugador acabaría ubicado 6to al final del mismo un puesto mas abajo que yo
Ya en la recta final del torneo logre jugar 4 partidas mas, una de ellas con quien llego 2do en el ranking final jaki01 donde tuvimos una fuerte lucha, partida bastante cerrada e interesante, ambos buscando recursos para ganar
Donde me sentía bastante cómodo pero sin poder descuidar las amenazas de mi rival, en este medio juego la mejor parte la pude tener yo!! Logrando obtener una calidad de ventaja luego de una buena combinación que me dejaba al borde de ganar la partida
Cxb4 Dxb4 Dxa1+ Pero entre en un gran apuro de tiempo donde no supe como rematar para concluir ganando, de esta manera no pude solventar el problema de la inactividad de mis piezas en la 8va fila y así la partida terminaría en tablas
Luego de este difícil resultado obtuve tres victorias seguidas y ya casi finalizando el evento me mantenía de tercero en la tabla de posiciones pero fui superado por Eniolw y Blackswan21 quienes fueron mas rápidos y usaron el berseck para sumar mas puntos lastimosamente con mis buenos resultados no alcance a ubicarme en el podio pero la lucha continuara!!
Nada mal para un regreso luego de varios meses sin ver una actividad continua dentro de los tableros con un performance de 2304 puntos muy por encima que mi ranking actual con 7 Victorias 3 tablas y una derrota me retiro muy contento de la actuación y continuare participando en estos eventos intentando escalar mejores posiciones, me despido no sin antes felicitar al Candidato a Maestro Sawkito (Carlos Abiad) gran jugador de partidas Blitz y que el éxito continué!!
