Happy and blessed Good Friday, two weeks now, the election of the new state chess board of directors was held, I come to show you part of the process of the election and the celebration I know (Asoajedrene) for the period 2025/2029. As you know, I was President of the Association during the period 2017/2021. Due to the Pandemic situation there were no lessons for the next period, so I continued as president until the first months of this year 2025.
During 2024 we began working on the formation and legalization of sports clubs, since according to the statutes of the National Sports Institute (IND) for the chess discipline, at least 10 chess sports clubs must be legally constituted in order to proceed with the election of the Board of Directors of a Chess Association of each state of the country. We were calling for meetings with the chess clubs so that they were up to date with the requirements of the IND, because each one has to register online in the IND and then go through the institute of their mayor's office to finally deliver their registration to the association.
After 12 clubs registered, the formal statement of the assembly for the election of the new board of directors was passed.
This assembly was held specifically in the "Doral" Conference Room in the facilities of the Lidotel Margarita Hotel located in the city of Pampatar, Maneiro municipality, at three in the afternoon of April 5 of this year.
I tell you that only two members of the Saliente board of directors were present, the president "Yo" and the secretary, since most of the members emigrated for a better future in another country.
The new board of directors will be made up of the President: IA Ulises Hernández vice president Adilio Pérez Secretary: Lizbeth González and Treasurer: Marlus Acosta
in the part of Council Comptroller as president of this Council my friend #rlathulerie and also was present #rsanchez0308 as a representative of the chess club to which her son belongs together they were part of this act and shared a time with the Neoespartano chess family.
after the choice of the only iron the corresponding vote was made, the verdict was reported, the minutes were read and finally, we toasted with champagne for the New Board of Directors where I will also be working as executive director working for the future of Insular chess.
It was an enjoyable meeting where we could share in harmony all in family "Gens una sumus" (in Latin, "We are a family") the FIDE Memmo.

Feliz y bendecido Viernes Santo, dos semanas ya, se celebró la elección de la nueva Junta directiva de ajedrez del estado, les vengo a mostrar parte del proceso de la elección y la celebración sé (Asoajedrene) para el periodo 2025/2029.
Como saben fui Presidenta de la Asociación durante el periodo 2017/2021. Por motivo de situación Pandemia no hubo lecciones para el próximo periodo, así que continué como presidenta hasta los primeros meses este año 2025.
Durante el año 2024 comenzamos a trabajar en la formación y legalización de los clubes deportivos, ya que según los estatutos del instituto Nacional de Deporte (IND) para la disciplina de ajedrez tienen que estar legalmente constituidos mínimos 10 clubes deportivos ajedrez para así proceder a la elección de la Junta directiva de una Asociación de Ajedrez de cada estado del país. Fuimos llamando a reuniones con los clubes de ajedrez para que estos estuvieran al día de acuerdo con los requisitos del IND, pues cada uno tiene que inscribir vía online en el IND y luego pasar por el instituto de porte de su alcaldía para finalmente entregar su inscripción a la asociación.
Después de que se registraran 12 clubes, se pasó el comunicado formal de la asamblea para la elección de la nueva junta directiva.
Dicha asamblea se llevó a cabo específicamente en el Salón de Conferencias “Doral” en las instalaciones del Hotel Lidotel Margarita ubicado en la ciudad de Pampatar, municipio Maneiro, a las tres de la tarde del 5 de abril del presente año.
Les cuento que de la junta Directiva Saliente solo estábamos presentes dos miembros, la presidente “Yo” y la secretaria, ya que la mayoría de los integrantes emigraran por un mejor futuro en otro país.
La nueva junta directiva estará conformada por el Presidente: IA Ulises Hernández vicepresidente Adilio Pérez Secretaria: Lizbeth González y Tesorera: Marlus Acosta
en la parte de Consejo Contralor como presidenta de este Consejo mi amiga #rlathulerie y también estuvo presente #rsanchez0308 como representante del club de ajedrez al que pertenece su hijo juntos fueron parte de este acto y compartiendo un rato con la familia de ajedrez Neoespartano,
luego de la elección de la única plancha se realizó el voto correspondiente, se informó el veredicto, se procedió a leer el acta y por último, brindamos con champaña por la nueva Junta Directiva donde igualmente estaré en función como directora ejecutiva trabajando por el futuro del ajedrez Insular.
Fue una reunion amena donde pudimis compartir en armonia todos en familia "Gens una sumus" (en latín, "Somos una familia") el Lema de FIDE.
