I hereby proclaim the month of December to be the month of Chess960! After the Olympics and the Quarantine Cup, we neglected the popular variant and can make up for it with 4 rounds. The current world championship is so boring - as everything is about preparation and the smallest nuances in the theoretical discussions. A little bit of a contrast program with Chess960 is very refreshing, I think. The rounds on the 11th, 18th and 25th will be Blitz with 5 + 2, so it is also easy to play for the elderly. I wish you a lot of fun and success!

Hiermit rufe ich den Monat Dezember zum Schach960 Monat aus! Nach Olympia und Quarantäne Cup haben wir die so beliebte Variante vernachlässigt und können es mit 4 Runden nachholen. Die derzeit laufende Weltmeisterschaft ist so dermaßen langweilig, da sich alles um Vorbereitung und kleinste Nuancen in den theoretischen Diskussionen abspielt. Da ist ein wenig Kontrastprogramm mit Schach960 sehr erfrischend wie ich denke. Die Runden am 11. 18. und 25 werden Blitz mit 5+2 sein, also auch für die älteren Herrschaften gut spielbar. Ich wünsche viel Spaß und Erfolg!
