I almost forgot the winning post! Last Saturday we played again with a special rule. Giving up was not allowed! In addition to 4 players who didn't seem to notice this, I also had to delete 3 players from the list because they were not registered. This rule, which I invented to keep the distribution of points within a narrow framework, seems to be very well received, even if it seems unusual at first. Of course you can't eliminate all problems with this, but I think the tournaments will be more exciting with it.

Beinahe hätte ich den Gewinnerpost vergessen! Letzten Samstag spielten wir wieder mit einer besonderen Regel. Aufgeben war nicht erlaubt! Neben 4 Spielern die das scheinbar nicht mitbekommen haben musste ich auch 3 Spieler wegen fehlender Registrierung aus der Liste streichen. Diese Regel, die ich erfunden habe um die Punkteverteilung in einem engeren Rahmen zu halten, scheint sehr gut anzukommen, auch wenn es zuerst ungewohnt erscheint. Natürlich kann man dadurch nicht alle Probleme beseitigen, aber ich denke die Turniere werden damit spannender.

WOW! New rule has really been knocking out quite a players ;) I still find it difficult to fight against urgent temptation to resign and start new game when I'm lost. But it's interesting not to resign also; making the opponent press for win.
