In round 13 already a key game happened: the clash between the two co-leaders @eniolw and @sawko whereby @eniolw could win in a really
In round 14 @rodrook could surprisingly beat @deadleaf who with Black had blundered Qf7 (probably in an attempt to take twice on g6 and eliminate the annoying knight).
But @rodrook cold-blooded punished that move by just mating his opponent.

White came out great after the opening and was completely winning, but after many wild tactics there was this situation where 2 pieces of white were hanging. Can you find a way to defend both?And in round 16 there was also a pretty crazy game between @vjap55 (white) and @samostically.

The game ultimately ended piecefully.In the game (in time scramble) @vjap55 had tried Re1+ Kf7 (otherwise Bf6x with attack on h8) but then continued with Bf6x and after Rd3x+ Ke4 lost his advantage due to the sneaky Re8+
Other than that mostly the favorites could take home their full points, with one exception. I was able to beat @jako01 with the white pieces which saved my day, after having lost the return matches against @vjap55 and @pereu4ivatel.

After 16 rounds still @eniolw and @sawko share the same number of points but @eniolw had played one round less and - after his 100% score today - is therefore leading with 13 points out of 14. Closely behind is @sawko with 13 points out of 15, followed by @vjap55 with 12/15 as 3 and @samostically with 11,5/15 as 4
I would say all 4 have still chances for the title but @eniolw is clearly on fire at the moment and for sure hard to overcome.
The remaining two tournament days will be the crucial ones, with 5 rounds to be played out per day. Don´t miss them!

Beautiful report. Interesting games yesterday. I almost lost against @anomadsoul. I luckily escaped with a draw against @vjap55

Thanks. Yes, it is, 6 weeky only. Let´s see if next time more players dare to participate. In the meantime to start the games by oneself is already routine, isn´t it :)
Yup, great understanding between all the players. It's nice. Surprisingly we've had upsets too.
