Greetings my dear readers, friends of world chess, and the great family of the hive of hive.
Today I come to write this little post in an illustrative and practical way to understand the title of my publication; the mirror of the openings.
This theme is born from an idea based on a mirror effect, that is, the reflection of a game of contrasting pieces; when I mention this, I mean that there are certain positions with both white and black pieces that are played in one way or another similar, having as main pattern the same structure, an example of this can be seen in the following images.

In both images, we observe the same pawn structure, the same way of arranging the pieces; the plans with both black and white are similar; what differentiates one variant from the other?
A: Apparently there is no difference, but the simple fact that the first player has a move ahead represents a minimum advantage in the order of moves; in the case of Black, if he gets that move in favor he will have an excellent positional advantage, if White wastes his first move, the conditions would not be the best.
The chess board, when presented as a square 8x8 = 64 squares, represents a symmetry, that symmetry allows this type of positions, that if known on a large scale, either with white or black (vice versa) a player within his strategic arsenal can play it.

After this simple move, there is a sea of possibilities, countless variants and options for both players; the best known is 2.Nf3 and from there the various forms of Sicilian are derived, for those who like the aggressive tone, or a little calmer positional cut; having as a common point all the variants the column "c" as a point of attack.
Now, who would be its mirror variant? The English opening, also known as the inverted Sicilian.
Following a simple move from White's move number 1.c4 ; we have already entered the English opening, many positional players; or who play the Sicilian defense play the English and bring to the plan with White, the plans they execute with Black giving good results.
The Sicilian defense dragon variant🐲, 🐲accelerated dragon, are the most aggressive with black and have a high win rate, sea of mazes with tactics - strategies, traps with the famous dragon fire (bishop)🔥, imagine all that but with white (plus a plus)+ (one move ahead), it is something simply fascinating to have as a strategy in our repertoire.
These representative images that I put; are just an example of countless mirrors that can coexist in modern chess; I will quote only in words "the hol dense defense stone wall variant is given with the formation of black pawns d5, c6, f5, e6" in some occasions I have played it with white and it has brought me good results, the variant would be with "d4, f4, c3, e3".
This is a solid way to play, as well as strategic because when I know the plans with the black pieces, they would be the same with white; clearly I have to wait for the opponent's answers but from the beginning of the game, the strategy has already been set up; it is practical for important games where you need to throw off any theoretical preparation of the opponent, a solid and pragmatic game.
My intention with this little post for the hive chess community, is that they try to play games with their openings - defenses that can get a "mirror"; they will see new results and have a wider repertoire.

El día de hoy vengo a redactar este pequeño post de manera ilustrativa y una manera práctica para entender el título de mi publicación; el espejo de las aperturas.
Este tema nace de una idea basada en un efecto espejo, es decir, el reflejo de un juego de piezas que contrastan; cuando menciono esto, me refiero a que existen ciertas posiciones tanto con piezas blancas como con negras que se juegan de una manera u otra similar, teniendo como patrón principal su misma estructura, ejemplo de ello lo podemos ver en las siguientes imágenes.

En ambas imágenes; observamos la misma estructura de peones, la misma manera de disposición de las piezas; los planes tanto con negras como con blancas son similares; ¿Qué diferencia una variante de otra?
R: Aparentemente no existe diferencias, pero el simple hecho de que el primer jugador tiene un movimiento adelante representa una ventaja mínima en el orden de movimientos; en el caso de las negras si llegan a tener ese movimiento a favor tendrán una ventaja posicional excelente, si el blanco desaprovecha su primer movimiento, las condiciones no serían las mejores.
El tablero de ajedrez al presentarse como un cuadrado 8x8 = 64 casillas, representa una simetría, esa simetría permite este tipo de posiciones, que de conocer a gran escala una bien sea con blancas o negras (viceversa) un jugador dentro de su arsenal estratégico lo puede jugar.

Después de este simple movimiento, existe un mar de posibilidades, innumerables variantes y opciones para ambos jugadores; la mas conocida es la 2.Cf3 y de ahí se derivan las diversas formas de siciliana, para los que les gusta el tono agresivo, o de corte posicional un poco mas tranquilo; teniendo como punto común todas las variantes la columna “c” como punto de ataque.
¿Ahora bien, quien sería su variante espejo? La apertura inglesa, o también conocida como siciliana invertida.
A raíz de un simple movimiento desde la jugada número 1 de las blancas. 1.c4 ; ya entramos en la apertura inglesa, muchos jugadores de corte posicional; o que juegan la defensa siciliana juegan la inglesa y llevan al plano con blancas, los planes que ejecutan con negras dándole buenos resultados.
La defensa siciliana variante del dragón🐲, 🐲dragón acelerado, son las más agresivas con negras y tienen una alta tasa de victorias, mar de laberintos con tácticas – estrategias, trampas con el famoso fuego del dragón (alfil)🔥, imagina todo eso pero con blancas (además un plus)+ (un movimiento adelantado), es algo sencillamente fascinante para tener como estrategia en nuestro repertorio.
Estas imágenes representativas que coloque; son solo un ejemplo de innumerables espejos que pueden coexistir en el ajedrez moderno; citare solo de palabras "la defensa holadensa variante muro de piedra se da con la formación de peones negros "d5, c6, f5, e6" en algunas ocasiones la he jugado con blancas y me ha traido buenos resultados, la variante sería con "d4, f4, c3, e3".
Esta es una forma sólida de jugar, ademas de estrategia porque al conocerme los planes con las piezas negras, serían los mismos con blancas; claramente tengo que esperar las respuestas del adversario pero desde un inicio de la partida, la estrategia ya ha sido montada; es práctico para partidas importantes donde necesites despistar cualquier preparación teórica del rival, un juego sólido y pragmatico.
Mi intención con este pequeño post para la comunidad ajedrecista de hive, es que intenten jugar partidas con sus aperturas - defensas que puedan conseguir un "espejo"; veran nuevos resultados y tendran un repertorio más amplio.
