RE: Bishops are Sneaky and Dangerous

in The Chess Community3 years ago

Hey @rodrook nice to read you once again, I'm so glad to see a little bit of the project you were working on in the last, hopefully your grandfathers will get back to chess yeah. So, this is a never ending story I agree with you when you say that the scoring points for these piecesis not appropriate, in chess it's not easy to just say "okay this costs 3 or 5 or whatever ", many things can change in a blink so I prefer to evaluate how much efficient is a piece of other according to the position, sometimes the bishop is better, sometimes the knight is the boss, you know ...

If you ask me I would say that the design of the pieces fits better in the knight hahaha I mean looks better than the bishop jajaja of course this is actually something that has nothing to do with chess

But what can I tell you the knight is badass that's why we chose it for our logo lol

Sort:

Of course you right the value of these pieces differ and changes during the course of a game. Sometimes the knight is better and sometime the bishop is better for a specific position.

I have being checkmated many times by my opponent bishop and queen and didn’t see it coming. So I do think the bishop is sneaky (lol).

I think everyone have to agree that the rook is powerful and strong! When you put them on the same rank or file they are a smashing machine :):).

Also Thanks for taking a look at my project, I’m not sure when I will work on it again.
