Wild Plot Wednesdays:
Pick an anime that has a main genre of sports. Create a plot where a traditional game on your country has been played and turn the original game into the traditional one. Think of Haikyuu where the characters will play hopscotch instead of volleyball. Make it creative.
We encourage you to make a separate post about the contest but commenting your entry is also fine.
Do not forget to use the tag #wildplotwednesday20
Mechanics:
- Make a separate post or comment under this post pitching in your wild plot and title. If you had to make a separate post, use the tag "wildplotwednesday20" for easy screening.
- Your official entry under a separate post or comment should be 100 - 250 words. I'm only asking for a short plot summary not an entire fictitious anime review. If you want to continue building on the plot, I suggest making an entire separate post because this event also serve as a weekly contest prompt.
- Rewards for the entries can take in the form of setting the participants and as beneficiaries for succeeding posts OR providing liquid rewards from the @theanimerealm account or my own account. The rewards will just pile up even if no entry for the week.
- The use of extra materials to expound your idea is fine. These include sharing preexisting images, music videos, tropes that convey a similar or same theme as what your plot is trying to sell.
- No AI assisted or plagiarized work please. While it can be difficult to spot AI written entries at times, it's not like one can get away with it for long. I'm telling you it's not worth losing your reputation if you resort to using AI than your imagination. We've been curating for a while and part of the screening practice is weeding out AI works.

Ohhh I already have a traditional sports in mind... but plot.. eh...I don't have a specific one in my mind now, but I will surely think of something later.
I don't know any Polish game, so I'll use the gumball game I played as a child. It involves jumping over it, going under it, or something else, depending on the rules.
The heroes of Hajime no Ippo learned from Kamogawa's coach that the United Nations banned boxing due to its brutality. The coach said that because of this they would start playing rubber. If boxers exercise with it, why not turn it into a full-fledged sport? The characters laugh at it at first, but it turns out that the game is not that easy and requires muscles, weight balancing and body control. Kimura and Aoki, like a comedy relief, come out immediately, and the giant Takamura copes without any problems, swinging gracefully like a ballerina. The boxer notices that his friend with a much lower weight (Ippo) is doing just as well. They decide to start competing to see who can flawlessly perform the most absurd acrobatics. Ultimately they reach a draw. After a few months of training, they are so proficient at it that they go to the world championships.
